Gnangara Road Upgrade
Gnangara Road is a major arterial road, providing connection for commercial vehicles and residents to the Great Northern Highway and Wanneroo Road. Gnangara Road is an important link between Ellenbrook and Joondalup and is experiencing increased congestion due to the rapidly growing population in Perth’s north-eastern suburbs. This project will upgrade Gnangara Road between Henley Brook Avenue and Egerton Drive, including intersection upgrades at Henley Brook Avenue, Robert Street and Egerton Drive.
Great Northern Highway-Apple Street intersection upgrade, Upper Swan
The Great Northern Highway is a national freight route with high volumes of light and heavy vehicles. The intersection at the Great Northern Highway, Apple Street and Coondaree Parade in Upper Swan is the primary access point for local residents and businesses and is currently close to its maximum utilisation rate. Currently the intersection is an un-signalised offset four-way intersection that does not have sufficient capacity for the future traffic flows from the surrounding residential and industrial uses. The increase in vehicles at the intersection will constrain freight movements, resulting in time delays, reduced productivity and increased road safety risks. The project will upgrade the intersection of the Great Northern Highway, Apple Street and Coondaree Parade in Upper Swan.
The Broadway upgrade, Ellenbrook
Continued residential growth within Ellenbrook is expected to generate significant congestion and decrease safety on The Broadway. The project will construct a second carriageway of The Broadway up to Bordeaux Lane.
The Broadway-The Promenade intersection upgrade, Ellenbrook
The Broadway and The Promenade are two major roads connecting residents in Ellenbrook to the town centre and wider Perth network. Continued residential growth within Ellenbrook is expected to generate significant congestion and decrease safety at the intersection. The project will upgrade the intersection at The Broadway and The Promenade in Ellenbrook.
Wanneroo Road-Morley Drive intersection upgrade, Balcatta
The project upgraded the intersection at Wanneroo Road and Morley Drive, Balcatta to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and minimise the risk of accidents occurring. The Wanneroo Road - Morley Drive Intersection has been identified as the third worst intersection in the Perth metropolitan area for congestion and frequency of crashes. The intersection also has a high volume of public transport (bus) movements throughout the day, with peak period performance being impacted heavily by congestion. The project upgrade will alleviate traffic congestion as well as improving safety and accessibility for both roads users and pedestrians.
Beechmont Road, Witheren (Stage 1) - 103102-19QLD-RTR
This section of Beechmont Road requires reconstruction because of inadequate standards. The width, alignment and geometry is not adequate to current design standards. There is traffic volume increase on this road, being a major road within the Scenic Rim region.Realignment, widening, drainage works, full pavement reconstruction and sealing to current design standards.Total cost of proposed project is $1,701,580
Barwang Road (Rural Road) - 103106-19NSW-RTR

Kalamunda Road, Kalamunda - 103110-19WA-RTR
Failed stormwater drainage system and various pavement sections.Stage 1 of a two staged stormwater drainage and pavement repair project involving renewal of existing stormwater system and rehabilitation of various pavement sections.Total cost of proposed project is $890,000
Westal Road Service Road, Springvale - 103104-19VIC-RTR
A Geotech investigation under taken for Westall Road which shows following: The existing surfacing is in poor condition. Crocodile cracks, longitudinal cracks and patches observed in Westall road. Severe settlement and differential movement for road Non engineered fill Poor bearing capacity Rutting defects Inadequate drainage that countributes to softening and weakening of the foundation.Road Rehabilitation using deep lift asphalt. This includes replacing damaged kerbs, installation of AG drains to protect new pavement and replacement of some damaged piped drainage.
Burakin-Wialki Road (Rural Road) - 103113-19WA-RTR
