Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Carnarvon-Mullewa Road (Rural Road) - 127235-24WA-RTR
Multiple sections have exposed rock and floodways that wash out during rain events, there are several corners with unsuitable cross elevations. This route provides access for the remote communities of Murchison and the Burringurrah Aboriginal Community to the nearest major centre of Geraldton.Re-sheet with good quality gravel on various sections within the work location that have exposed rock and inadequate formation due to loss of material on the road surface. Several corners need super elevations corrected. Three floodways require cement stabilisation.
Macpherson Street, Mosman - 127346-24NSW-RTR
Asphalt road surface requires renewal. Multiple cases of severe crocodile cracking, potholes are forming frequently and “shoving” is common. Macpherson Street is a busy regional road and is adjacent to Middle Harbour Public School.Mill and re-sheet road segment and lay new asphalt surface (50 mm AC14). Where further work is required, excavate road to a depth of 150 mm and lay asphalt in 2 layers (AC20 basecourse and AC14 wearing course).
Battlecamp Road (Rural Road) - 127340-24QLD-RTR
Road gets washed out every wet season due to heavy runoff making it impassable and unsafe for traffic.Installation of three Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) culverts and concrete causeway. The project has received $120,000 from Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS).Total cost of proposed project is $240,012
May Street, Cooktown - 127341-24QLD-RTR
Unsealed gravel road with poor drainage and dust issues.Completion of pavement works, installation of one culvert/causeway, installation of kerb and channel and two coats of bitumen seal. The project has received $200,000 from Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS).Total cost of proposed project is $400,007
Home Rule Road, Rossville - 127344-24QLD-RTR
Unsealed gravel road which gets really boggy every year during the wet season, creating unsafe access for local residents and visitors. Moreover, the existing drainage crossings and structures are in poor condition and need replacement for safe access.Completion of survey and design including relevant permits, replacement and upgrade of the drainage crossings structures, construction of road pavement and bitumen sealing. The project has received $689,500 from Reef Guardian funding, $160,000 from Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program and $139,453 from Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS, in FY2025/26).Total cost of proposed project is $1,288,953
Charlotte Street, Cooktown - 127345-24QLD-RTR
Inadequate street lighting creating safety and security concerns for local traffic, road users and residents.Upgrading of public street lights along the main Charlotte Street to improve the visibility, safety and security at night. The project has received $196,379 from Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS).Total cost of proposed project is $762,379
Nolan St, Bendigo - 127278-24VIC-RTR
Deterioration of road pavement due to age and usage by trucks and heavy vehiclesReconstruction of road pavement. Additional funding from City of Greater Bendigo capital expenditure.Total cost of proposed project is $726,667
Howard Street, Jackass Flat - 127277-24VIC-RTR
Deterioration of road pavement due to age and usage by trucks and heavy vehicles. Reconstruction of road pavement.
Rocky Valley Road (Rural Road) - 127260-24SA-RTR
Road sheet deteriorating, potholes, rutting and edge eroding on both sides.Full re-sheeting. Remaining funds from Council.Total cost of proposed project is $251,000
Dimerah-Gunbah Road (Rural Road) - 053213-14QLD-RTR
The road has rough surfaces due to rutting and there is vegetation regrowth on the shoulders and table drains.Clearing of vegetation with a front end loader or grader. Grading of rough surfaces using a grader.
