Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Meadow Plains Road (Rural Road) - 127307-24NSW-RTR
Unsealed road is inaccessible during wet periods. Construct a new seal 600 m long x 7 m wide and 200 mm deep and stabilise. The new seal will create better access for the residents along the road.
Kinross Avenue, Edithvale - 127281-24VIC-RTR
Rigid road pavement is in poor condition: it has extensive cracking and heaving failures. Due to required drainage upgrade works as part of this project, with the drain to be constructed underneath this road, the road pavement will require full reconstruction.Works will include the reconstruction of the road pavement, drainage, vehicle crossings and footpaths and kerb and channel. Council funds will be used as the additional source of funding.Total cost of proposed project is $2,870,000
Shannon Street, Coolamon - 127247-24NSW-RTR
Pavement was last resealed over 17 years ago and is displaying deterioration with extensive cracking and minor shoving required a reseal to prevent further damage and reinstate an impermeable surface.Minor bitumen maintenance such as pothole and edge break repair prior to applying bitumen reseal.
Maria Street, Strathfield South - 127327-24NSW-RTR
Crocodile cracks, rutting, longitudinal cracks.Mill and fill with asphalt with localised heavy patching for the damaged sections.
Pemberton Street, Strathfield - 127324-24NSW-RTR
Crocodile cracks, rutting, longitudinal cracks.Mill and fill with asphalt with localised heavy patching for the damaged sections.
Eaton Drive, Dardanup - 127290-24WA-RTR
Increased traffic over time has resulted in significant traffic congestion at a major intersection between a District Distributor (Eaton Drive) and a Local Distributor road (Glenhuon Boulevard). Long delays and queuing of traffic occurs at Glenhuon Boulevard at peak times.Construction of a revised, three-way signalised intersection layout. Revised channelisation and construction of new slip-lanes will enable safe left turns into and out of Glenhuon Boulevard while maximising the through traffic flow on the dual carriageways of Eaton Drive. Other funding Sources: South West Regional Road Group (RRG) ($800,000), Council Reserves ($84,000).Total cost of proposed project is $1,200,000
Cheetaning Street (Rural Road) - 127201-24WA-RTR
Sub-base is failing, cracking up and potholing.Cement stabilise sub-base and reseal.
Gnowing Street (Rural Road) - 127202-24WA-RTR
Surface is worn and is starting to pothole.Reseal surface with new stone.
Campbells River Road, Oberon - 053208-14NSW-RTR
Road is narrow and unsafe . Increase in traffic. Potholes. Realignment required.Realignment . Improve curves. Improve drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $400,000
Herdigan Road (Rural Road) - 127203-24WA-RTR
No gravel from Straight Line Kilometre 0.24 to 1.75, bog hole at Straight Line Kilometre 1.24 to 4.81 and additional 200 m re-sheet and clearing at these sections.Clearing and gravel re-sheet from Straight Line Kilometre 0.24 to 1.77 and fixing bog hole at Straight Line Kilometre 1.24 and 4.81.
