Victoria Street. Parkes - 135150-25NSW-RTR
The project involved reshaping and upgrading sections of the urban road network to improve stormwater drainage performance, pavement condition, and overall road safety within the Parkes urban area. Works included reshaping the existing road surface and shoulders to achieve appropriate levels and ensure effective integration with newly constructed kerb and gutter, allowing stormwater to be efficiently captured and conveyed within the existing road drainage system. Additional works included a road reseal between Bogan Street and Ward Street, and the construction of a new sealed pavement section on Victoria Street between Currajong Street and Clarinda Street. These improvements enhance pavement durability, reduce maintenance requirements, and improve accessibility and safety for all road users while protecting adjacent properties from stormwater impacts.
