Piano Gully Road (rural road) - 059273-15WA-RTR
The existing road has no gravel and no or incorrect cross falls resulting in erosion, potholes and corrugations.Form sub-grade to correct cross falls, place and compact 100mm of gravel. reform table and cross drains and place guide posts where required.
Sweetman Road, Goolwa South - 059274-15SA-RTR
Poor road surface condition resulting in a majority of the road having surface defects.Reseal road (spray seal) and upgrade surface at intersections to asphalt
Bearbung Road (Rural Road) - 059275-15NSW-RTR
The existing bitumen seal is approximately 25 years old and is starting to break up, causing pavement potholes, shoving of the outer wheel paths and edge break. There is also severe longitudinal and lateral cracking happening. Road shoulders need regrading.Correct any surface defects eg: potholes/shoves, maintenance grade the shoulders, import gravel to reshape shoulders where necessary, then bitumen seal to a width of 6m using 14mm aggregate.
Gilmours Road (Rural Road) - 059276-15NSW-RTR
The existing bitumen seal is approximately 20 years old and is starting to break up, causing pavement potholes, shoving of the outer wheel paths and edge break. There is also severe longitudinal and lateral cracking happening. Road shoulders need shoulder grading.Correct any surface defects eg:potholes/shoves, maintenance grade the shoulders, import gravel to reshape shoulders where necessary, then bitumen seal to a width of 6m using 10 or 14mm aggregate (depending on design).
Seven Mile Road (Rural Road) - 059278-15NSW-RTR
Primary through road formed from natural black material. In wet conditions the road is impassable to all but 4 wheel drive traffic. In dry weather pavement tends to powder up causing deep potholes and rutting.Reshape road and gravel sheet – Win and cart gravel – Spread gravel at 6m wide X 130mm thick, compact to 100mm. Re-establish table and mitre drains.
Waugan St (Gilgandra) - 059279-15NSW-RTR
Primary Town Street that has over the past five years seen this section of pavement deteriorate at a rapid rate, possibly from water inundation originating from the centre island.Investigate any anomalies in the existing road base and correct. Reconstruct pavement, incorporating certified road base material. Bitumen seal, using 10mm aggregate.
Starkies Road (rural road) - 059280-15WA-RTR
Little to know gravel exists on the current road and cross falls are poor or do not exist resulting in erosion along the road, pot holes and corrugations.Form the sub-grade to required cross falls, place and compact 100 millimetres of gravel, clear existing table drains and cross drains and place guide posts where required.
Wrigley Street. (Gilgandra) - 059281-15NSW-RTR
Primary Town Street that was originally formed up with sandy black soil, with the existing seal being in excess of 30 years old. Longitudinal and lateral cracking has let moisture penetrate the base layer, and the street is prone to excessive potholing and deformation. The kerb and gutter on both sides need replacing as well as the storm water inlets (lintels).Remove existing kerb and gutter and storm water inlets; remove from site top 300mm of existing road base material. Reinstate kerb and gutter and storm water inlets (320m). Import certified sub base material, stabilize, form up and compact to a depth of 200mm then import Design Graded Base (DGB) material , form up and compact to a depth of 100mm, trim and shape to conform with new kerb and gutter, then bitumen seal using 10mm aggregate.
