Gloria Street, South Golden Beach - 114651-21NSW-RTR
Fix drainage and failed road pavement.Construct infiltration pits connected with culverts and table drains. Reconstruct failed road pavement and new surfacing.
Seven Mile Beach Road, Seven Mile Beach - 114663-21NSW-RTR
Illegal parking and traffic management issues.Formalise on road parking areas by sealing adjacent road and car park area, and using line marking and signage to delineate parking spaces, line marking of the adjacent sections of road will also be done to improve road safety in the vicinity of the car parks.Total cost of proposed project is $492,400
Tandur Road, Tandur - 114925-21QLD-RTR
The existing single lane timber bridge is load limited to 15t GVM. Therefore, most heavy vehicles needing to cross Six Mile Creek in the Gympie region (16km+ waterway that runs northwest to Gympie from Traveston) need to go via Gympie, adding significantly to trip times. The bridge is also sited in a very constrained location, with narrow unsealed approaches and no road safety barriers on the bridge.Construct a new two lane reinforced concrete bridge with sealed road approaches. New bridge to include bridge rail across the bridge and guard rail on the approaches to improve safety given the constrained geometry at the bridge location. The new bridge will give access to heavy vehicles across Six Mile Creek, reducing heavy vehicle travel times.Total cost of proposed project is $3,537,500
Tandur Road, Tandur - 114926-21QLD-RTR
Tandur Rd is the highest traffic carrying gravel road in the Gympie region, with 160 vehicles per day (vpd) using the route. The road contains a number of tight horizontal curves and is not wide enough to comfortably carry this volume of traffic. When gravel roads exceed 110vpd, the condition of the road deteriorates rapidly under the traffic load, increasing maintenance costs and increasing the exposure of the road user to poor road conditions, leading to potentially unsafe conditions.Widen and bitumen seal Tandur Road to give a final trafficable width of 7.0m (2 x 3.5m traffic lanes).
Wuthung Road (Rural Road) - 115054-21QLD-RTR
Unsealed road surface has loss of pavement causing insufficient crossfalls and a rough surface due to the pavement deterioration.Tyning of pavement to subgrade and importing and layout of 150mm of gravel material.Total cost of proposed project is $465,612
Gowrie Road, Gowrie - 115010-21NSW-RTR
Pavement deterioration over time has resulted in rough and heavbily patched road surfaceRemix and stabilise existing pavement, then reseal.
Showground Road, Taminda - 115006-21NSW-RTR
Inadequate road width, rough and failing pavement.Pavement reconstruction and widening, including installation of kerb and gutter
Sir Hudson Fysh Drive, Cloncurry - 114919-21QLD-RTR
The existing pavement formation is deteriorating and is considered insufficient for the increase in traffic volume and heavy vehicle usage. Existing infrastructure is required to be upgraded and rehabilitated to a suitable standard and width to withstand the current traffic demands and extend the asset life of this section of road.Removal of existing pavement, rehabilitate underground infrastructure, widen existing formation and replace sealed pavement. Linemarking, new road furniture and rehabilitation of adjoining pedestrian access will also be undertaken as part of the upgrade works.Total cost of proposed project is $3,010,925
Brynes Road, (rural road) - 114730-21VIC-RTR
The concrete culvert has parts of the internal steel reinforcement exposed. If not addressed corrosion of the steel will decrease the useful life of the culvert and could lead to the collapse of the culvert. To ensure that culvert is effective in future rain events the inside of the culvert needs to be relined with a plastic Invert Liner. This will prevent corrosion of the steel bars, increase the structural strength and extend the useful service life of the culvert.
Polkemmet Road, (rural road) - 114732-21VIC-RTR
Pavement failed due to traffic and poor drainage. Poor riding surface and drainage issues are to be addressed.Pavement renewals including kerb and channel, partial footpath renewal and sealed surface to provide a smooth riding surface and improved drainage.
