Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Richmond-Croydon Road, Richmond - 115612-21QLD-RTR
To widen and seal 4km of gravel road to allow road trains to pass each other safely, to reduce the amount of dust created and to reduce the risk of damage or injury caused by flying gravel from traffic movement.To construct pavement and seal to a width of 7.2 metres for a distance of 4kms.Total cost of proposed project is $1,030,000
Richmond-Croydon Road, Richmond - 115613-21QLD-RTR
Current seal is old and needs to be resealed before the road deteriorates. This route is used by a large number of road trains carrying livestock.To cover the current seal with a one coat spray seal for 10km with a width of 7.2 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $300,000
Counsells Lane, (rural road) - 115620-21VIC-RTR
Deck structure failing, overhang and condition of the bridge had to limit the load to 20 T.The timber deck needs to be replaced in order to make the bridge operational.
Towong Street - 115622-21VIC-RTR
Deterioration of seal and potholes appearingMajor patching and reseal of length of 148m to an average width of 5.9m
Lucyvale Road (Rural road) - 115621-21VIC-RTR
Major patching works required before reseal works.Cement stabilize and 1973m2.
Ballarat Intermodal Freight Hub
The project will construct an intermodal freight hub in Ballarat, Victoria. The Ballarat Intermodal Freight Hub will be located in the planned Ballarat West Employment Zone (BWEZ) and will be capable of handling High Productivity Vehicles.

Echuca to Robinvale - Project Scoping
This project will undertake scoping works to identify priorities and develop a package of delivery works on the Murray Valley Highway between Echuca and Robinvale.
