Boxwood Hill Ongerup Road, (rural road) - 115638-21WA-RTR
1) This entire 4.7km section of road has an ageing bitumen seal and is due for resealing. This will make a safer running surface and preserve the road asset. 2) There is 350m of road on the bend at the intersection of Holden Road that requires stabilisation prior to resealing. 3) The sweeping bend 1km east of Buncle Street is failing due to heavy traffic hugging the inside of the bend. The intent is to widen the culverts and increase the trafficable width of the road making suitable for heavy traffic that uses this road to access CBH grain bins at harvest time.1) A 10mm stone chip reseal over the entire 4.7km length. 2) There is 350 meters showing pavement deformation and will require cement/gravel stabilisation and the reshaping of road and drains prior to resealing. 3) Extend the width of the culverts to provide a wider running surface, reshape and reseal.
