Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Peats Ridge Road, Central Mangrove - 104479-19NSW-RTR
Peats Ridge Road sees large volumes of heavy vehicle traffic. It needs regular work on the pavement to remain in a serviceable condition.Pavement rehabilitation then reseal with asphaltic concrete (hot mix)Total cost of proposed project is $881,613

The existing sealed road & intersection is too narrow for the high heavy vehicle use it experiences and requires widening in order to reduce vehicles crossing the road centre line.The existing sealed road is to be widened using a granular pavement and a new sealed surface is to be placed.

Bettington Road, Carlingford NSW 2118 - 104491-19NSW-RTR
The existing road surface is affected by various types of cracks and spalling along joints. Some sections of kerb and gutter have been displaced by tree roots and heavily cracked.The proposed work will include replacement of damaged sections of kerb and gutter, strengthening of existing pavement in trafficable areas and resurfacing of the road with asphalt. Length = 273 m; Width = 12 m; Area = 3276 m2.
Rosedale Road (Rural Road) - 104413-19NSW-RTR
Due to Lack of Gravel in critical areas of this road it can only be used for dry weather.Gravel Resheeting of Critical areasTotal cost of proposed project is $280,000
Goondoon Street, Gladstone - 104492-19QLD-RTR
Due to a sink hole being identified, there is a risk of pavement failure and potential consequences to public safety and property.It is proposed to complete a 1M deep pavement replacement, removing any voids encountered and reconstructing a flexible pavement that is less susceptible to damage due to inundation. The existing kerb and adjacent footpath which have sunk will also be re-constructed to remove sags, promoting better on-road drainage and a safer option for users. The re-construction shall be carried out to reduce the likelihood of voids and pavement failure currently being encountered in the area. The full depth asphalt pavement will improve the pavement performance when saturated and the installation of geo-fabric will bridge underlying deep subgrade defects.Total cost of proposed project is $1,282,656
Burgess Road, Yarck (Rural Road) - 104483-19VIC-RTR
