Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Glen Alice Road (Bogee) - 064912-16NSW-RTR
Surface instability, aged seal and aged pavement have caused consistent pavement failure over this 3km section, within the locality of Bogee. Such failures include severe surface cracking and potholing.Complete rehabilitation is required in this area. The road surface and pavement will be removed and reconstructed in August in order to determine where any further pavement deficiencies lie. Then, in November, the remediated section will be resealed in a robust 20/10 two-coat seal.
Chard Road - 064913-16NSW-RTR
Ageing road pavement is distressed with cracks, potholes and patches due to increased traffic condition.Repair the pavement and resurface with asphaltic concrete.
Pringle Avenue - 064914-16NSW-RTR
Ageing road pavement is distressed with cracks, delamination and patches due to increased traffic condition.Repair the pavement and resurface with asphaltic concrete.
Price Avenue, Lower Mitcham - 064917-16SA-RTR
Price Avenue has a total length of 1.3 kilometres from Wattlebury Avenue, Lower Mitcham to Springbank Road, Clapham. The segment of Price Avenue identified for rehabilitation within the scope of this project is between Kinross Avenue and Macpherson Street. This section of road seal was rehabilitated with a sprayed bitumen and aggregate surface in 2004 and is now showing signs of distress with significant failed areas. The road surface is also deforming indicating a weak pavement structure. This segment of Price Avenue is 250 meters in length, with a width of 13 meters. The road has dedicated parking lanes and bicycle lanes. Price Avenue is a local collector road with a vehicle traffic volume of 1,200 vehicles per day.It is proposed to replace the road seal and pavement with a deep lift asphalt pavement followed by a 40mm Asphalt seal. Some minor kerb renewal will be included in the project.

Rogers Road, Porongurup - 064919-16WA-RTR
Road gravel deteriorated in sections with potholes and pooled water.Gravel re-sheeting in sections and tree pruning.
Barrow Road, Porongurup - 064920-16WA-RTR
Degraded gravel surface.Tree pruning and gravel re-sheeting in patches as requiredTotal cost of proposed project is $51,028
Surrey Downs Road, Porongurup - 064921-16WA-RTR
Gravel sheeting deteriorated in sections.Gravel re-sheeting in patches and drainage works.Total cost of proposed project is $44,374
Hay River Road, Mount Barker - 064922-16WA-RTR
Low lying sandy patches require repair.Gravel re-sheeting and drainage work as required.
Hassell Street (Southern End), Mount Barker - 064923-16WA-RTR
Poor drainage on unsealed section of road.Improved Drainage, culverts, re-aligning gullies and build to seal level.Total cost of proposed project is $84,441
