Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bluegum Avenue, Prestons - 064887-16NSW-RTR
Pavement has reached the end of the serviceable life and is demonstrating signs of extensive cracking, rutting and failuresReconstruction and re-surfacing of existing road pavement with 100mm deep strength asphalt including reconstruction of deteriorated sections of kerb and gutter.
Trevanna Street, Busby - 064888-16NSW-RTR
Pavement has reached the end of the serviceable life and is demonstrating signs of extensive cracking, rutting and failures.Reconstruction and re-surfacing of existing road pavement with 100mm deep strength asphalt concrete including reconstruction of deteriorated sections of kerb and gutter.
Frazer Avenue, Lurnea - 064889-16NSW-RTR
Pavement has reached the end of the serviceable life and is demonstrating signs of extensive cracking, rutting and failuresMill and re-surfacing of existing road pavement with 50mm Asphalt including reconstruction of deteriorated sections of kerb and gutter.
Currey Street, Roma - 064891-16QLD-RTR
The surface condition of the intersection is in poor condition and is currently part of heavy vehicle routeIt is proposed to asphalt a 50 metre section at the intersection
Rydal-Hampton Road (Rydal) - 064892-16NSW-RTR
Surface instability, aged seal and aged pavement have caused consistent pavement failure over this 1.5km section, just south of the Rydal township. Such failures include severe surface cracking and potholing.The seal for this 1.5km section will be entirely removed and the pavement will be ripped and blended with new, suitable quality road base. The subsurface will then be compacted prior to the application of a robust 20/10 two-coat seal. Table drains will be reformed and stormwater drainage pipes will be reformed and cleared where applicable.
Expressman Road (Rural Road) - 064893-16QLD-RTR
The road becomes inaccessible in the wet.With the installation of 2 new and reconstruct 2 floodways on this road, this will improve the flood resilience and safer access for motorists.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
Glen Davis Road (Capertee) - 064894-16NSW-RTR
Inadequate drainage and poor quality seal has caused pavement and edge failure over a 2km section. Such failures include severe potholing, edge cracking and surface depressions.The seal for this 2km section will be removed in sections where the road has degraded. In these areas, the subsurface will be ripped and blended with high quality road base. The road base will then be sufficiently compacted and allowed to sit for two weeks prior to seal to determine any further subsurface deficiencies in these areas. Upon rectification of any further issues, a two-coat 20/10 seal will be laid to replace that which was removed. Table drains will be reformed and stormwater culverts and pipes will be cleared to rectify drainage issues.
Main Street (Wallerawang) - 064895-16NSW-RTR
Surface instability, aged seal, aged pavement and recent water/sewer mains replacement have caused consistent pavement failure over this 300m section in the CBD of Wallerawang. Such failures include severe surface cracking, surface depressions, ravelling, rutting and potholing.The seal for this 300m section will be entirely removed and the pavement will be ripped and blended with new, suitable quality road base. The subsurface will then be compacted prior to the application of a hotmix seal by external contractor.
Mathoura Street, Horsham 3400 - 064896-16VIC-RTR
Pavement failed due to traffic and poor drainage. Poor riding surface and drainage issues are to be addressed.Pavement renewals including replacement of footpath, kerb and channel and sealed surface to provide a smooth riding surface and improved drainage. Length 217 Meters x 6.8 metres wide.Total cost of proposed project is $221,000
Calliope River Road, West Stowe - 064897-16QLD-RTR
Road is beginning to fail as a result of rutting and is causing water to pond, increasing the risk of vehicles aquaplaning.Reconstruct pavement by cement stabilisation.Total cost of proposed project is $270,000
