Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Brim West Road (Rural Road) - 056745-15VIC-RTR
Section of road too narrow. Heavy vehicle use is causing ongoing shoulder maintenance.Construct a 150mm overlay over the existing pavement and the new section of widened seal for strength and designed profile.
Menindee-Wilcannia Road, Menindee, - 056746-15NSW-RTR
Current road alignment, formation and drainage is poor. Low lying area is inundated following rain eventsReconstruct 800m of unsealed section of road including gravel overlay and 7m wide seal. Reshape table drains, lift vertical alignment and install new culverts.

Station Street - 056749-15VIC-RTR
Road pavement has failed due to heavy vehicles from Burra Foods. It has become a hazard to road users and the general public.It is proposed to reconstruct the existing pavement. This requires to dig out the existing pavement to an approximate depth of 550 millimetres, lay geotextile and grid at the base, fill 300 millimetres with scalpings and import 200 millimetres of class 3 crushed rock to foam bitumen, then add a 50 millimetre thick layer of Type H asphalt
Reiffers Road, Meander - 056750-15TAS-RTR
Bridge is in need of replacement. The timber beams on the existing single lane bridge are deteriorated and in need of replacement.Replacement and upgrade of the existing single lane timber bridge to a single lane concrete structure.
Lunatic Bend, Menindee, - 056751-15NSW-RTR
Low lying areas inundated following rain events and high River level. Inaccessible for residents in current state.Reconstruct 2km of road including raising vertical alignment and 150mm gravel overlay
Buffalo Waratah Road - 056754-15VIC-RTR
Road pavement has failed due to poor subgrade and has become a hazard to road users and the general publicIt is proposed to cement stabilize 300 millimetres of existing road pavement and to add and additional 100 millimetres of Class 2 crushed rock, then add a 10 millimetre bitumen seal.
Copi Hollow Road, Menindee, - 056755-15NSW-RTR
Asset nearing end of useful lifeHeavy patching and shoulder rehabilitation works. 14mm reseal for entire length 3.30km
Sanatorium Road (Rural Road) - 056756-15VIC-RTR
The existing bitumen has deteriorated resulting in cracking, potholing, and also a smooth slippery surfaceBitumen sealing for a total length of 1,603 metres
Leura Road Double Bay - 056758-15NSW-RTR
Road pavement is 70% block cracked and seal striping.It is proposed to excavate road surface and reseal with asphalt concrete.Total cost of proposed project is $71,553
