Parsons Street, Kensington - 138717-26VIC-RTR

Asphalt pavement displays age-related deterioration, with surface cracking, patching and localised deformation from adjacent street trees evident in the roadway. Proposed works include full-width profiling of the existing pavement to a depth of 50 mm, followed by full-width resurfacing with 50 mm of 10 mm aggregate Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) wearing course. Lift and reset wide pitcher channel in sections as required to improve roadway profile.

Argus Avenue, Gumly Gumly - 138603-26NSW-RTR

Heavily worn and damaged rural pavement with ongoing and deteriorating pothole issues. Proposal is to rehabilitate the pavement with stabilised pavement and 2-coat seal.

Stuart Road, Wagga Wagga - 138614-26NSW-RTR

Heavily worn and damaged urban pavement (industrial use) with ongoing and deteriorating pothole issues. Proposal is to rehabilitate the pavement with stabilised pavement and 2-coat seal and a 50mm wearing course at intersections.

Victoria Highway – New Bridges Over Little Horse and Big Horse Creeks

The project replaced bridges at Big Horse Creek and Little Horse Creek crossings on the Victoria Highway, with new high level bridges and upgrades to the approach road to improve flood immunity.

William Street, Granville - 138652-26NSW-RTR

This is a Collector Road connecting Merrylands CBD with Woodville Road (State Road). It carries a lot of traffic including heavy vehicles and along a bus route. Scope of works include removal of existing failed asphalt surface, reconstruction of damaged sections, install subsoil drain, provide new asphalt surface and kerb & gutter replacement including improvement to the delineation where required.

Ashord Cemetery Road SR066 (Rural Road) - 138686-26NSW-RTR

Sections of road pavement have come to end of useful life and are displaying significant defects. Road resealing works will be carried out on Segment 30.

Rous Road, Tregeagle - 138444-26NSW-RTR

Narrow and failing pavement, poor vertical and horizontal alignment. Works proposed includes culvert and pavement widening, pavement rehabilitation, minor realignment, signs and linemarking.

Spring Ridge Road (Rural road) - 138720-26NSW-RTR

The existing pavement edge is deteriorated and unstable. Undertake edge repairs to restore the pavement edge with suitable pavement materials.

Bundeena Drive, Bundeena - 138610-26NSW-RTR

Bundeena Drive between Little Marley Trail to Sir Bertram Stevens Drive is showing signs of pavement deformation and failure. Council is receiving a large number of requests from the local community regarding its condition. Bundeena Drive is the only access road in and out of the towns of Maianbar and Bundeena. It currently provides narrow traffic lanes and does not include facilities for cyclists. The proposed works involve full-width pavement reconstruction of approximately 17,000 m², The project also includes the provision of on-road cycleways on both sides of the road, as well as vegetation clearing. Council is also investigating the option of providing a stabilised pavement base with an asphalt surface.

Mount Tully Road (Rural Road) - 138459-26QLD-RTR

There are two sections on Mt Tully Road that require considerable works: 1. Chainage 4.26 to 4.55; and 2. Chainage 5.45 to 6.12 Both these sections consist of under-width sections of seal with badly deteriorating edges, on crests and tight curves. This road is a school bus route, and these two sections are the final unsafe sections that require upgrading. Works conducted during 2024-25 have repaired all failures, improved drainage in some locations and brought the road back up to a good level of service.
