Allerts Road, Numurkah - 138637-26VIC-RTR
Ageing seal is cracking which allows moisture to enter the road pavement, works required to prevent major deterioration. Resurface existing seal with a bituminous binder and aggregate.
O'Driscoll Road, Nathalia - 138656-26VIC-RTR
Ageing seal is cracking which allows moisture to enter the road pavement, works required to prevent major deterioration. Resurface existing seal with a bituminous binder and aggregate.
Howell Road SR411 (Rural Road) - 138702-26NSW-RTR
Sections of road pavement have come to end of usefull life and are displaying significant defects. Road resealing works will be carried out on segments: 60, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 140, 160 & 170
Angurugu-Yanbakwa Road (rural road) - 135754-25NT-RTR
Maintenance grade and associated works including, culvert cleaning, shoulder alignments and floodway clearing and realigning.
Verdun Road, Murray Bridge - 138739-26SA-RTR
Undertake reseal of this collector road between shopping precincts and Mulgundawah Road.
Biddy Camm Road (Rural Road) - 138701-26WA-RTR
This section of road has its pavement thinned out allowing corrugations to form easily and getting slippery while wet. Additionally vegetation has encroached into the drainage system very badly. Proposed treatment is to first cut back vegetation from the shoulders back to the top of the backslopes, cart in enough gravel to resheet to a compacted 150mm thick pavement that is 10m wide with proper crossfall. Afterwards the table drains and backslopes will be reshaped and guideposts installed along the length of the work section.
Landsborough Highway – Morven to Kynuna Upgrade
The project included strengthening and widening of around 15km of rough and narrow pavement on the Landsborough Highway between Morven and Kynuna.
North Lake Grace-Karlgarin Road (Rural Road) - 138634-26WA-RTR
These three work sections on North Lake Grace-Karlgarin Road have developed ruts and potholes from heavy traffic in the sealed surface. The proposed solution which will be applied to all three work sections is to mill the surface, machine sweep for debris and apply a CRS 170/60 emulsion and 25mm asphalt concrete layer over the top to seal and smoothen the sealed surface.
West Kuender Road (Rural Road) - 138640-26WA-RTR
The sealed road acts as a floodway and as such has accumulated many small potholes allowing water infiltration into the subgrade, and rutting presenting a poor driving surface for both light and heavy vehicles. Treatment will be to mill the surface to level it out, sweep for debris and apply CRS 170/60 emulsion and 25mm asphalt concrete layer over the top to finish and seal the surface.
Tonkin Road (Rural Road) - 138754-26WA-RTR
Thinning gravel payment and encroaching vegetation onto shoulders. Proposed treatment is to cutback vegetation from shoulders to top of backslope, then cart in gravel, mix and compact to a thickness of 150mm and to road width of 10m. Afterwards clear out drainage and reshape table drains and backslopes, and install guideposts throughout the length of the work section.
