High Street, North Sydney - 138753-26NSW-RTR
The ageing kerb and gutter along High Street, North Sydney, between Alfred Street North and Clark Road, is a long section of deteriorated infrastructure located within a high-traffic area, with ongoing safety and asset integrity concerns. The condition of the kerb and gutter is beyond routine patching and requires a larger-scale repair and maintenance treatment to restore the road edge, improve stormwater drainage, and support the structural integrity and longevity of the adjacent road pavement by reducing the risk of water ingress and further pavement deterioration. Given the strategic location and traffic volumes, proactive renewal is considered a more sustainable asset management approach than continued reactive maintenance, reducing the likelihood of progressive failure, unplanned maintenance costs and potential safety issues while ensuring the road corridor remains safe, resilient and fit for purpose over the longer term.
Ridge Street, North Sydney - 138749-26NSW-RTR
The ageing kerb and gutter infrastructure along Ridge Street from Miller St to Elliot St, North Sydney, is located within a high-traffic area and is showing signs of deterioration that warrant consideration for full renewal rather than ongoing reactive maintenance. Replacing the kerb and gutter will improve pedestrian and road-user safety, restore effective stormwater drainage, and support the structural integrity and longevity of the adjacent road pavement by maintaining appropriate edge support and preventing further water ingress and pavement deterioration. Given the strategic location and level of traffic, renewal represents a proactive asset management approach that reduces the risk of progressive failure, unplanned maintenance costs and potential safety issues, while ensuring the road corridor remains fit for purpose and resilient over the longer term.
Clark Road, Neutral Bay - 138752-26NSW-RTR
The ageing kerb and gutter along Clark Road, Neutral Bay, between Adderstone Avenue and Margaret Street, is a long stretch of deteriorated infrastructure that is now beyond routine patching and requires a larger-scale repair maintenance. Given the high traffic environment, the works are recommended to address ongoing safety concerns, restore effective stormwater drainage, and maintain the structural integrity of the adjacent road pavement by preventing further water ingress and edge deterioration. A proactive renewal of this section will provide a more sustainable asset management outcome than continued reactive maintenance, reduce the risk of further deterioration and unplanned costs, and support the long-term serviceability and integrity of the road corridor.
Black Creek Road (Rural Road) - 138761-26NSW-RTR
Basecourse has worn down to subbase creating lack of material for maintenance grading. Place 50 mm thick compacted basecourse and shape.
Coorigil Road, Carnegie - 138402-26VIC-RTR
Approximately 498 metres and 3,941 sqm of road has deteriorated over the years and is showing signs of failure. The condition assessment identified an uneven road surface, excessive crossfalls, dilapidated kerb and channel, and sections of the drainage network with insufficient capacity. A number of vehicle crossings are damaged, and there is evidence of vehicle scraping due to the road profile. Minor localised ponding occurs at some locations during rainfall events. Renewal of the road pavement, surface and associated drainage assets is therefore required. The work involves installing new kerb and channels, reconstructing failed pavement sections, installing underground drains, filling drainage trenches and constructing pavements, providing adequate drainage to the street and asphalt surfacing.
