Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Existing gravel road is not coping with heavy traffic, gravel road surface breaking up with road proving difficult to maintain to a satisfactory standardReconstruct gravel base to 9m and seal to 7m wide, improve roadside drainage during course of improvements.

Existing road is constructed from poor quality material which becomes slippery in wet conditions which restricts access for heavy vehicles.Gravel resheet with a superior quality gravel which has been used successfully on previous projects.
Cannindah Road, Monto Queensland - 058014-15QLD-RTR
Existing road is constructed from poor quality material which becomes slippery in wet weather.Gravel sheet with a superior quality gravel to provide a non slip surface in the wet.
Sale Toongabbie Road, Nambrok - 058018-15VIC-RTR
Deterioration of the road identified in seal road condition survey, edges breaking away and potholes occurring, increasing maintenance requirements.Reconstruct and seal the 350m of road. Works include pulverising of the existing pavement plus placement of additional 150mm depth of conforming materials. Drainage works as required. Bituminous Sealing 7mm primerseal.
Sellings Lane, Maffra - 058019-15VIC-RTR
Deterioration of the road identified in seal road condition survey, edges breaking away and potholes occurring, increasing maintenance requirements.Reconstruct and seal the 600m of road. This section of road is currently in poor condition with loss of gravel causing corrugations and roughness.It is proposed to resheet this section of road

Deterioration of the road identified in seal road condition survey, edges breaking away and potholes occurring, increasing maintenance requirements.Reconstruct and seal the 160m of road. Works include placement of additional conforming materials, installation of kerb and channel, stormwater drainage including pits and pipes . Bituminous Sealing 7mm primerseal.
Wandobah Road Gunnedah (Rural Sealed) - 058022-15NSW-RTR
Pavement has shoving cracking and rutting, whilst road width is not to standard, causing serious safety concerns during peak periods for all stakeholders, including the school bus.Heavy Patch defects, whilst widening shoulder to allow for a new bitumen seal of 7 meters.Total cost of proposed project is $314,283
Bulunbulun Road Breeza (Rural Unsealed), - 058023-15NSW-RTR
Black soil coming through pavement, impeding on traffic whilst causing safety concerns with stakeholders during rain events.Re-sheet pavement to a depth of 150mm to improve the depth of cover, therefore increasing strength
Ruvigne Road (Rural Unsealed), - 058024-15NSW-RTR
Weak pavement due to impeding black soil progressing through, causing safety issues due to slippery condition in wet weather.Re-sheet pavement to a depth of 100mm to improve access and strength.
