Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Okeh Road (Rural Road) - 058759-15NSW-RTR
Existing poor quality gravel pavement is allowing water infiltration and deformation of pavement shape.Reform a 2km total length of existing pavement and resheet with a 100 mm depth of good quality crushed rock.
Wargeila Road (Rural Road) - 058760-15NSW-RTR
This section has numerous corrugates and potholes across the surface of the road, making it unsafe for drivers and requiring additional maintenance.Resheeting this area will improve the roads driving surface and addresses various maintenance and safety issues. This resheeting will also reduce Councils requirements for ongoing repair and maintenance work, ensuring the road is safe and accessible.
Yass River Road (Rural Road) - 058761-15NSW-RTR
This section has rough potholes and ruts down to the subsoil level, making it unsafe for drivers and requiring additional maintenance.Resheeting this area will improve the roads driving surface and addresses various maintenance and safety issues. This resheeting will also reduce Councils requirements for ongoing repair and maintenance work, ensuring the road is safe and accessible.
Marked Tree Road (Rural Road) - 058762-15NSW-RTR
This road is exhibing clay wash outs in existing wheel tracks, making it unsafe for drivers and requiring additional maintenance.Resheeting this area will improve the roads driving surface and addresses various maintenance and safety issues. This resheeting will also reduce Councils requirements for ongoing repair and maintenance work, ensuring the road is safe and accessible.
Shands Road, Main Ridge - 058763-15VIC-RTR
The proposed upgrade of the existing bridge is in response to the bridge reaching its end of life cycle and requires replacement. The existing bridge structure is of a narrow two lane, timber deck with a steel substructure. The bridge is too narrow and does not allow for vehicles to safely pass each other. There is currently a reduced load limit and speed limit imposed on the bridge for safety reasons.Replacement of the existing timber bridge structure including widening of existing road pavement at the approaches, bridge road pavement overlay, gaurdrails and precast concrete bridge. The recently completed Shands road upgrade was completed in 2014.
Blue Gum Road (Rural Road) - 058764-15SA-RTR

Eastbourne Road, Rosebud - 058765-15VIC-RTR
The crash statics for the road have included 14 within a 5 year period. The majority of crashes have been associated with turning traffic and cars running into the rear of parking cars. The project is being undertaken in conjunction with length improvements through Blackspot program.Introduction of turning lane, safe pedestrian crossings and road resealing. Specifically this funding will allow for road pavement condition to ensure an improved layer lifespan.Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
