Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Hawkins Ave, Hillcrest - 061735-15SA-RTR
Severe pavement undulation and failure, longitudinal cracks, kerb and gutter damage, base and sub base failure.Full reconstruction of road, upgrading of sub base and base materials, new kerb and gutter and asphalt seal
Rosella Road, Parkdale - 061736-15VIC-RTR
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. Drainage improvements will be incorporated into this project.Works involve the reconstruction of Rosella Road, including new kerb and channel and reconstruction of the existing asphalt road pavement. The works consist of approximately: • 664m of kerb and channel • 2377m2 of pavement reconstruction • 300m stormwater drainage • 19 drainage pits • 810m2 of residential footpath • 810m2 of residential vehicle crossings • Signs & Line marking • Associated worksTotal cost of proposed project is $540,023
McMillan Street, Clayton South - 061737-15VIC-RTR
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. Drainage improvements and traffic management works will be incorporated into this project.Works involve road reconstruction and shared path construction, and consist of: • 3000m² of excavation for road pavement, footpaths and vehicle crossings, • 1650m² of asphalt pavement reconstruction, • 475m of concrete kerb & channel • 650m² concrete footpath paving • 160m² concrete vehicle crossings • 300m of drainage 225mm to 450mm Dia. Pipes • associated drainage pitsTotal cost of proposed project is $527,319
on Back Road, Wilmot - 061738-15TAS-RTR
Wear and tear on the road surface, the narrowness of the road, limited sight lines and steep drop offs, and drainage issues.Works will be drainage reconstruction and renewal, widening of the existing road, corner works to allow clear sight lines, installation of barriers to negate drop offs, and the resealing of the remaining road and new road works.

Port Kenny Road (Rural Road) - 061740-15SA-RTR
There is evidence of dead binder and cracking of current seal. Edge breaks are occurring in various locations along section.Road will be resealed using 10mm treatment with S20E binder.

Oakes Rd (Rural road) - 061742-15NSW-RTR
This section of road is badly deformed, has poor drainage, is narrow and dangerous to the travelling public.Rehabilitation and widening of the existing pavement to a formation width of 10m and 8m seal with minor kerb & gutter construction. Improvement to drainage and some adjustment of utilities is also required.Total cost of proposed project is $781,446
