Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The road pavement has reached the end of its life and is being reconstructed. associated drainage improvements and kerb and channel works will drain the road keeping it in good condition while providing amenity for road users.Road reconstruction, installation of piped drainage, kerb and chanell constructionTotal cost of proposed project is $1,189,516

The road has underlying asbestos and is experiencing increasing volumes of traffic being too great for effective maintenance of an unsealed road.Gravel overlay and sealing, table drain formalization.Total cost of proposed project is $467,920

Robinson East Road , Woodanilling - 062664-15WA-RTR
This section of road is seriously over hung with trees which is not allowing any vehicle movements safely down the road. It is a major grain cartage corridor for the agriculture industry and movement of farm machinery.Council proposes to improve sight distances by pruning back overhanging branches and remove any trees within the back slope areas to enable the road to be widened, minor formation work along with any culvert cleaning and repairs if needed.
Paschke Road, Holder - 062666-15SA-RTR
Road unfit for purpose. Road has narrow pavement, poor open surface pavement, poor open horizontal and vertical alignment and inadequate signage.Reconstruction of 2.0 kilometres to a pavement width of 9 metres. Reconstruction to include horizontal and vertical alignment. Reconstruction to improve drainage.
Kanni Road (KANNI) - 062667-15SA-RTR
Road unfit for purpose. McGregor Road (Gisborne) - 062668-15VIC-RTR
The existing gravel road had a significant volume of traffic and required a large amount of maintenance works to provide an adequate level of service.Reconstruct the road pavement and provide a new seal to a width of 6.6m.Total cost of proposed project is $244,613
Kyneton Baynton Road (Rural Road) - 062669-15VIC-RTR
Existing road culvert has significant failures which has caused the existing road pavement to subside and become a rough surface.Replace road culverts and provide a new road pavement to improve the surface.Total cost of proposed project is $162,024
Ballaleah Road (Rural Road) - 062671-15QLD-RTR
The road has a rough surface due to corrugation, this has caused the road to become unsafe and has limited access to habited remote outstations.The use of a grader and roller to remove all corrugation and restore the road to a safe manner.
