Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The sealed road has reached the end of its economical life with many surface failures.Reseal approximately 330 metres of sealed road -3,000 metres

The sealed road has reached the end of its economical life and has numerous surface failures.Reseal approximately 280 metres of sealed road - 2,000 square metres.
Acacia Drive, Cobar - 060855-15NSW-RTR
The sealed road surface has reached the end of its economical life and has numerous surface failures.Reseal approximately 440 metres of sealed road - 3,400 square metres
Moondarra Drive - 060857-15QLD-RTR
Narrow sections, pavement failures and drainage problemsWiden narrow section, pavement rehabilitation and improve stormwater drainage.
Pine Creek Road (Rural Road) - 060859-15SA-RTR
The road has large patches of less then <50mm of material on top and is corrugated with potholes, with some areas dangerous when dry and/or wet. This road is a main connection road and B-Double approved with significant traffic during harvesting periods.To rip and resheet 10km with locally sourced pit material and have a 150mm base course.
Casurarina Drive, Weeroona Island - 060860-15SA-RTR
Due to the steep grades of the Island the Island is susceptible to stormwater damage. The upgrade to the drainage is to alleviate the flow and direct the water down the road to eliminate road surface damage as much as possible.Install upright kerbing along southern side. At Penang Road install a side entry pit and two other locations towards Range View Drive with 235 metres of pipework and seal.
Sutherland Street, Kingscliff - 060861-15NSW-RTR
Existing 4 span timber road traffic bridge is in very poor condition and has a very short expected remaining life due to deteriorated condition of timber piles and headstocks.Replace the existing bridge with a two-span two-lane concrete bridge supported by cast concrete piles socketed into bedrock. Deck width 8.2 m between safety barriers.Total cost of proposed project is $3,325,341
Florina Road, Cossack - 060862-15NT-RTR
Subterranean water seepage in a highly trafficked, low lying floodway section of rural road causing the pavement surface to rapidly deteriorate, deform and subside in numerous sections, creating excessive safety issues to all vehicles.Rehabilitation of floodway by removal of existing sub grade materials, installation of geotech products (to allow for water flow, not seepage), full reinstatement and stabilisation of pavement including resealing and associated line marking activities.Total cost of proposed project is $151,414
Old Glen Innes Road (Rural Road) - 060865-15NSW-RTR
The road surface has commenced cracking and the old seal has oxidised due to age. The road surface requires resealing to continue protecting the road pavement.The proposed works will reseal 2.63 km of Old Glen Innes Road.
