Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Goolhi Road (Rural Unsealed) - 058026-15NSW-RTR
With the increasing volumes of heavy vehicles during harvest, pavement is showing signs of impeding black soil progressing through, Hence making it difficult for stakeholders to shift loads during wet periods.Re-sheet pavement to 150mm to improve access and strength, therefore increasing pavement depth for heavy vehicles.

Road is sealed but has no white line marking, dangerous traffic hazard.Install centre white line on bitumen surface
Commonwealth Road, rural road, locality of kulin - 058030-15WA-RTR
Roadside vegetation overgrown causing poor site distances. Overhanging vegetation is a traffic hazard for heavy vehicles.Mulch over hanging vegetation to increase vertical width of road.
Outlet Road (Rural Road) - 058040-15VIC-RTR
Seal of road has worn, seal is oxidised and is failing.Resealing the surface of the road.
Wilga Street - 058050-15NSW-RTR
Heavy defected due to water impeding into pavement from old cracked bitumen seal.Heavy patch defects, whilst renew bitumen surface to water proof pavement.
Baker Street - 058051-15NSW-RTR
Heavy defected due to water impeding into pavement from crack bitumen sealHeavy patch defects, whilst renewing bitumen surface to water proof pavement.
Bloomfield Street - 058052-15NSW-RTR
Due to the increase of heavy vehicles pavement thickness is inadequate to carry high volumes of traffic, pavement is weak and is extremely damaged safety issues and noise have been raised by residents and 2 nearby schools.Remove unsuitable gravel to a depth of 450mm, replace with suitable gravel, compacting in layers, stabilising the travel lanes, whilst providing a bitumen water proofing membrane, and apshalt wear coarse.
Wyuna Road (Rural Unsealed) - 058053-15NSW-RTR
Pavement is slippery in wet conditions due to unsuitable material progressing through base causing safety concerns.Re-sheet pavement to a depth of 100mm to improve strength and access ability.
Black Springs Road (Rural) - 058054-15NSW-RTR
Reseals are undertaken to maintain the impermeability of the pavement, ensuring that water cannot permeate into the road resulting in damage to the pavement.Reseals involves spraying a bitumen surfacing over the existing surface. A reseal will last on average 10 years before it needs replacing.
Church Street, Mudgee - 058056-15NSW-RTR
The pavement is in very poor condition with block cracking an numerous pavement failures resulting in shoves and potholes.. The pavement is significantly out of shape resulting in ponding of water and other drainage issues.It is proposed that the full width of the road is rehabilitated, pavement upgraded by modification of the existing pavement material and overlay where necessary.
