Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Lamond Road (Rural Road) - 065426-16WA-RTR
Re gravel due to blow out sections of the 2km section of this road. showing signs of vehicular traffic breaking through the pavement to the sub grade material.Reform Table drains, reform carriageway and re-gravel a 2 km section of the road, including new white posts.
Wallambin Road (Rural Road) - 065427-16WA-RTR
Road failing throughout this area due to heavy recent rains which has eroded to a point where the sub grade material is showing leaving deep ruts and needs to be re-sheeted through out. this section of road is based on hill to which is regulary needing attention after heavy rains.Reformation of table drains, clearing vegetation, reform carriageway and re-gravel a 3.5km section of road including new white posts.
Brown Road (Rural Road) - 065428-16WA-RTR
Re-Gravel blow out section of this road due to sub grade material showing from high heavy vehicle flow and recent heavy rain causing wash outs and damage to table drains as well.Reform table drains, clear vegetation and gravel re-sheet 3.9 km section of road from Fleming rd intersection to Swampwell intersection.
Sutton Road (Rural Road) - 065429-16WA-RTR
To improve road standard for tourism. this 6.5km section of road shows signs of corrugation, narrow carriageway, sub grade material showing, overgrown vegetation restricting clear views and drainage issuesClear vegetation, reform table drains widen road, re sheet 6.5km section with gravel throughout. Extend 1 set of culverts and install new headwalls, replace worn out white posts. Install rock protection on the extension of culvert needed.
Booborowie Road (rural Road) Leighton SA 5417 - 065430-16SA-RTR
Booborowie Rd is a high maintenance open surfaced road requiring major construction as it is too narrow in sections and contains dangerous curves. It is the main north/south commodity route for the surrounding area due to the construction of bulk hay storage facilities and has experienced greater heavy vehicle usage during harvest periods.Booborowie Rd will be constructed to base course level for the 4km section from Dip Rd to Gum Creek Rd. 26,000 tonnes of 2/20 material will be carted and spread and a new seal applied to the total 4km section.
Booborowie Road (rural Road) Booborowie SA 5417 - 065431-16SA-RTR
Booborowie Rd is a high maintenance open surface road with daily traffic volumes on average 100 vehicles per day. The road is the main north/south connection for the Canowie area linking the township of Booborowie with the major arterial road of Wilkins Highway. It is a commodity route for 26m B doubles carting grain, hay and wool. Heavy vehicle usage increases during the seasonal harvest times.Council will upgrade the road to a high standard open surface road by improving the horizontal and vertical geometry of the roadway and increasing the road width to an 11m formation. The road level will be raised by 300mm to improve drainage on the roadway. The existing drainage infrastructure is in poor/non existent condition with large amounts of water pooling on the roads surface during wet conditions creating a hazard for road users and creating additional maintenance requirements. 15 sets of culverts will be replaced/upgraded using 30,000mcb of rubble sourced from a local Council managed pit.

Baniyala Road (Rural road) - 065437-16NT-RTR
Alignment of road with a number of bends has potential to cause vehicles to leave road.Realignment and widening of 500 meters of road. Straightening of road taking away corners will reduce the risk of vehicles leaving the road.Construct catch drain.
