Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Edison Mill Road (Rural Road) - 057627-15WA-RTR
This section of road was upgraded from gravel to bitumen in 2014/2015. This year will see the primer seal receive its Final Seal with 14mm stone.The Final Seal is from Straight Line Kilometre 0.00 to 2.00. This section will be sealed to a width of 6.4 metres with 14mm stone.
Dale Kokeby Road (Rural Road) - 057628-15WA-RTR
This section of road was upgraded from gravel to bitumen in 2014/2015. This year will see the primer seal receive its Final Seal with 14mm stone.The Final Seal is from Straight Line Kilometre 0.20 to 2.20. This section will be sealed to a width of 6.4 metres with 14mm stone.
Boystown Lane, Charters Towers - 057629-15QLD-RTR
A natural water course running into Saint George Creek crosses Boystown Lane and scours the road. There is also a dust hazard with the existing gravel surface.It is proposed to put in a floodway for the watercourse and seal the entire section to subdue the dust and prevent further scouring.
Bolgart East Road (Rural Road) - 057632-15WA-RTR
The existing road standard is insufficient to cater for the mix of heavy haulage, farm machinery and commuter traffic that is currently using it. This project will widen narrow sections of the Bolgart East Road to provide a uniform Type 5 standard local distributor road.The scope of work for this project will include the following. 1. Clear vegetation within clear zone on either side of the existing road. 2. Extend storm water culvert pipes and install headwalls & stabilise upstream & downstream culvert areas. 3. Import new sub base and base gravel either side of existing bitumen and compact. 4. Pulverise existing base layer and bitumen (existing road) and new base shoulder works. 5. Shape and Compact to 102% maximum dry density to line and level. 6. Widen the primer seal to 7.6 metres on the straights and 8 metres on the curves. 7. Seal with 14/7mm over the complete width and length. 8. Install guide posts and new signage.
Hill Street, Werris Creek - 057633-15NSW-RTR
The last 200m of Hill Street is an unsealed gravel pavement which causes a dust nuisance for surrounding properties.Reform and overlay the existing gravel pavement and apply a 2 coat bitumen seal
Maitland Street, Currabubula - 057634-15NSW-RTR
The street is unsealed and the road surface is easily damaged during periods of wet weather. The unsealed road surface also causes a dust nuisance for surrounding properties in dryer weather.Reform and overlay the existing gravel pavement and apply a 2 coat bitumen seal.
Railway Street, Currabubula - 057635-15NSW-RTR
The street is steel and unsealed which causes access difficulties for residents during wet weather and a dust nuisance during dry weather.Reform and gravel overlay the existing pavement and apply a 2 coat bitumen seal
Fortune Street, Quirindi - 057636-15NSW-RTR
Unsealed urban street which causes a dust nuisance to surrounding propertiesReform and overlay the existing gravel pavement and apply a 2 coat bitumen seal
Britton Avenue, Quirindi - 057637-15NSW-RTR
Unsealed lane causing dust nuisance to surrounding propertiesReform and overlay the existing gravel pavement and apply a 2 coat bitumen seal
Coach Street, Wallabadah - 057638-15NSW-RTR
Existing unsealed road provides access to First Fleet Gardens, Playground and Primitive camping area. The high number of vehicles access these facilities causes a dust nuisance to surrounding properties.Reform and gravel overlay the existing road formation and apply a 2 coat bitumen seal
