Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Mildura Ivanhoe Road (Rural Road) - 061057-15NSW-RTR
Existing Cattle Grids are deteriorating due to age and an increase of heavy vehicles. Grids are beginning to show signs of wear and tear, and are starting to cause safety problems.To remove three (3) old deteriorating grids and replace with new grids. New grids will be placed on compacted gravel and the approaches will be sealed to a length of 20m.
Wooranbara Corrong Road (Rural Road) - 061061-15NSW-RTR
Existing Grids are deteriorating due to age and an increase of heavy vehicles. Grids are beginning to show signs of wear and tear, and are starting to cause safety problems.To remove two (2) old deteriorating grids and replace with new grids. New grids will be placed on compacted gravel and the approaches will be sealed to a length of 20m.
Blackall Street, Thursday Island - 061312-15QLD-RTR
Pavement Failure , sub surface drainage, storm water drains, bitumen seal failure, kerb and channel failuresReconstruction - Stage 2 - recent rains have demonstrated that further drainage works will be required particularly at both intersections of Blackall Street being Hargrave and Summer Streets
Jalan Pantai, Home Island - 061482-15WA-RTR
This section of road is not brick pavedExtending the brick paved road between Jalan Raya & Jalan Kebun on Jalan PantaiTotal cost of proposed project is $116,559
Umuwa road - 061483-15SA-RTR
The existing road is unsealed becomes dusty and corrugated in the summer and slippery after rain events. dusty generated by traffic lingers in the town, causing safety and health issues for local road user and local residents.the work will involve reconstructing and sealing of the entire length of Umuwa road. Umuwa road is 300 hundred metres long by 7 metres wide. The work will mitigate the dust problem and improve accessibility to the properties of local residents
Tabain Road (rural road) - 061623-15NSW-RTR
Road safety is the major concern. This is a unsealed section of road that also is used as a bus route. With increased traffic to the area, the existing gravel pavement has deteriorated quickly and dust generated has become a traffic safety issue.Works will involve the addition of gravel pavement overlay and 2 coat bitumen seal to a width of 6 metres.
Tabain Road (rural road) - 061624-15NSW-RTR

Deveril Road (rural road) - 061625-15NSW-RTR
Road Safety is the major problem being addressed. with increased traffic to the area, the existing gravel pavement has deteriorated quickly and dust generated has become a traffic safety issue.Works will involve the addition of 100mm of gravel pavement and 2 coat bitumen seal 6 metres wide.
James Road, Dunmore - 061627-15NSW-RTR
The Rural Road seal is very old and requires rejuvenation, water is getting into the base material of the road due to cracking, it is now requiring significant maintenance and is difficult to get to readilyPoison and remove grass ingress along edges of old seal, Sweep loose material and apply a new stone seal.
Tongarra Mine Road, Tongarra - 061628-15NSW-RTR
This Rural sealed road seal is old and requires rejuvenation, water is getting into the base material of the road due to moderate cracking, it is now requiring significant maintenance to bring it back to good condition.Pothole patch existing defects using councils tar truck, remove vegetation along edges of roadway before sweeping and resealing over old seal applying a stone seal. The length of the seal will be 1.1klm
