Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Northernhay Street, Reservoir - 056466-15VIC-RTR
Excessive pavement crossfall and old-style high kerb in fair condition. Properties have installed metal plates on road to facilitate vehicle entry. Road pavement is in poor condition and poor pavement drainage.Reconstruction of kerbs and channels on both sides of the road. Reconstruction of road pavement and resurfacing with asphalt. Construction of new surface pits and underground drainage including water sensitive urban design (WSUD) elements.Total cost of proposed project is $625,350
Captain Cook Drive, Woolooware STAGE 3 Works - 056467-15NSW-RTR
Road pavement reached the end of its service life and deteriorated due to road surface and base layer failure. Narrow travelling lanes, narrow shoulders and no provision for cyclists. This is the final stage (stage 3) of Captain Cook Drive Upgrade Project. Stage 1 and 2 works were completed in December' 2012 and October'2014 respectively.As part of Stage 3 works ,It is proposed to complete the remaining final pavement layer of two east bound lanes (pavement area 8240sqm) to final design level. Full width road construction works include 300mm thick recycle concrete road base with 40mm thick asphalt concrete wearing surface and associated line marking.Total cost of proposed project is $1,300,000
Mildura Ivanhoe Road (Rural Road) - 056468-15NSW-RTR
Road surface is in a low lying area with poor drainage. Road becomes impassable in wet conditions.Gravel construct 8m wide for a length of 1.0km. Form new table drains to improve drainage.
Winter Crescent, Reservoir - 056470-15VIC-RTR
Kerbs and channels in poor condition due to lifting from adjacent street trees. Poor pavement shape contributing to poor road drainage. Poor pavement condition due to road being used as a bus route.Reconstruction of kerbs and channels on both sides of the road. Correction of pavement shape and resurfacing with asphalt.
Hoddinott Street Bairnsdale - 056471-15VIC-RTR
Failing Seal- Seal is aged oxidising and crackingRehabilitation, asphalt regulation, edge repairs and crack sealing will be undertaken as preparation works prior to the commencement of sealing work reinstatement of line marking
Chifley Drive, Preston - 056473-15VIC-RTR
Kerbs and channels in poor condition on both sides of the road. Extensive areas of failed pavement due to extremely high use of this section of road. Traffic conflicts involving vehicles entering and exiting adjoining commercial properties.Reconstruction of kerbs, channels and vehicle crossings. Reconstruction of road pavement including cement stabilization and resurfacing with asphalt. Construction of new central traffic islands.Total cost of proposed project is $344,732
McTaggarts Road, Eagle Point - 056475-15VIC-RTR
Failing Seal- Seal is aged oxidising and crackingRehabilitation, asphalt regulation, edge repairs and crack sealing will be undertaken as preparation works prior to the commencement of selaing work reinstatement of line marking
Allambi Street, Shepparton - 056476-15VIC-RTR
Road base and sub-base failures /shoving /depressions and extreme cracking - inadequate drainage kerb and channel holding water due to being cracked and sunkenReplace failed Kerb and channel 457m , Mill & Fill failed surface @ 40mm depth and replace with 10mm A10E Type Asphalt 2,030m2
Tapalin Mail Road (Rural Road) - 056477-15NSW-RTR
Gravel surface wearing due to increase of traffic and heavy vehicles. The road serves commercial horticultural and viticulture industries.Gravel construction 8m wide and 7m seal for a length of 1.0km.
McLarty Road, Halls Head - 056480-15WA-RTR
The existing surface and pavement is in poor condition with depressions, potholes and stripping.Replace base and kerb, supply and lay AC10 surface course.
