Mitchell Springs Road (Rural Road) - 057098-15NSW-RTR
Mitchell Springs Road is an unsealed road and at the work location, erosion of a creek bank has undermined the road surface. As a result only one half of the carriageway width is open to traffic.Repair works involve filling the eroded section of the creek bank with large sized rocks. The works also involve replacement of undermined road with compacted road base.
Lachlan Road - 057099-15NSW-RTR
Narrow road with unsealed formation.Reconstruction widening and bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $300,000
Otford Road, Stanwell Tops - 057102-15NSW-RTR
Steadily increasing visitor numbers to the Bald Hill Reerve and lookout are creating increases in traffic and pedestrian safety issues. The current facilities have no off road parking for northbound tourist coaches which cannot use the carpark since it has facilities for buses/coaches. The exisitng arrangements require northbound tourist coaches to make an illegal U turn on Lady Carrington Drive to retrun to park on Otford rd adjacent to the reserve and lookout. On busy days the car park fills up and vehicles park on otford road resulting in increase pedestrain movements around and across Otford road and the enterance to the car park. The result is significant risks to both vehicle and pedestrains.Major relaignment of a section of Otford Road combined with construction of a new roundabout entry to enhanced off road car parking facilities plus increased capacity for bus and coach parking on the east side of Otford road which allows for safer pedestrain movements between the bus/coaches and Bald Hill Reserve.Total cost of proposed project is $2,000,000
Digilah Road (Rural Road) - 057103-15NSW-RTR
The road surface at the intersection of Digilah Road and Lockerbie Road is unsealed and is frequently damaged during rainfall due to a lack of drainage infrastructure. The damaged road surface prevents trucks and cars turning at the intersection. The proposed works include reshaping the intersection and creating and wide drainage pathway through the intersection. The works also include bitumen sealing the surface of the intersection.
Neilrex Road (Rural Road) - 057105-15NSW-RTR
The surface of Neilrex Road in the proposed work location is bitumen sealed and is badly deformed, which presents a traffic hazard for vehicles on the road. Furthermore, the surface is narrow in width which is a traffic safety hazard for passing vehicles. The proposed work involves increasing the width of the road pavement, overlaying the pavement with 100mm compacted road base material and bitumen sealing the surface of the road. Total length of the proposed work is 2.5km.
Merryula Road (Rural Road) - 057110-15NSW-RTR
The surface of Merryula Road in the proposed work location is unsealed and does not have sufficient road base, which results in potholes and ruts, which reduces the speed at which vehicles may travel along the road. Furthermore, the existing surface becomes slippery during and after rainfall.Overlay the surface of the entire 7.5km length of Merryula Road with 100mm compacted road base material.
Cowcher Street, Wagin - 057130-15WA-RTR
