Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The Gap Road (rural road ) Wagga Wagga - 057711-15NSW-RTR
The road surface is pot holed and and is too narrow for current and future traffic generating a safety issue.Rehabilitate the existing pavement and reseal the road to a width of 6 metres for a distance of 3 kms.
Milne Terrace, Moonta, South Australia - 057712-15SA-RTR
Existing road surface, both seal and pavement inadequate given the volumes of traffic utilsing this road. This project also includes storm water works of which have been kept external to this project.Complete reconstruction of this road including new pavement, asphalt seal and kerbing.Total cost of proposed project is $500,000
Port Hughes Road, Moonta Bay South Australia - 057713-15SA-RTR
Existing road seal and pavement inadequate for traffic volumes. The project also involves a shared path to improve safer pedestrian movements.Complete reconstruction of existing road surface and construction of new shared pathTotal cost of proposed project is $1,100,000
Howe Street, Finley - 057714-15NSW-RTR
Road is unsealed with approximately 80 vehicles per day using Howe Street.Reconstruct, stabilise and seal Howe Street
Torquay Road, East Devonport - 057715-15TAS-RTR
Torquay Road is in poor condition and has had a lot of maintenance (patching and pothole repairs) in recent years. The existing lane widths and cross fall on the road are not ideal.The existing pavement will be excavated and replaced. Drainage will be improved through the installation of subsoil drains. Selected kerb and channel and footpath will be replaced. The new lanes will be marked to better facilitate on-street parking
Bobbin Head Road, Turramurra - 057716-15NSW-RTR
The road surface is cracked and the road foundation has failed in many locations leaving the road rough and unable to carry the weight of the vehicles using it.To remove and replace the road foundation in the required places with a thick layer of asphalt, plus remove and replace the road surface with new asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $236,000
Fletcher Vale Road (Rural Road) - 057717-15QLD-RTR
The numerous short sealed sections along this predominantly gravel road have deteriorated to a point where safety of the road user is compromised.It is proposed to remove the existing seal and drainage and replace with appropriately sized stabilised drop sections. Reforming, stabilising and resheeting will provide a continuous gravel running surface.
Dotswood Road (Rural Road) - 057719-15QLD-RTR
Much of the warning signage along this rural road is missing, faded or damaged causing a serious risk to through traffic including road trains and tourists.It is proposed to bring the warning signage up to the current Manual of Uniform Transport Control Device Standards. Examples of signs would be 'dip' crest' 'drive to conditions' or bends.
Mount Fox Road (Rural Road) - 057720-15QLD-RTR
Much of the warning signage along this rural road is missing, faded or damaged causing a serious risk to through traffic including road trains and tourists.It is proposed to bring the warning signage up to the current Manual of Uniform Transport Control Device Standards. Ewan Road (Rural Road) - 057721-15QLD-RTR
