Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Belalie East Road (Rural Road) - 056619-15SA-RTR
Surface of road has worn with clay appearing making road a hazard when wet as it becomes slippery and boggy.To resurface the road with a natural rubble. It will be applied 8 metres wide and 0.12metres thick when compacted. This involves raising material with a bulldozer, carting to site with trucks, spreading and levelling with graders and compacting with rollers.

A sealed surface will also be applied from Straight line kilometre 0.00 to 3.0

A sealed surface will also be applied to the reconstruction to ensure a safe surface at all times for emergency services access to the Bremer Bay airstrip.
Boxwood Ongerup Road (Rural Road) - 056624-15WA-RTR

Maringarup West Road (rural road) - 056625-15WA-RTR
Corregations, Pavement failures, narrow road width, and drainage systems which require renewal to remove surface water.Works to rectify the problems identified include reforming, resheeting and installing new drainage systems.
Lachlan Valley Way (Rural Road) - 056626-15NSW-RTR
Unsealed road gravel pavement is worn down, becoming rutted and slippery or boggy when wet. Previous gravel resheets don't last long until mixed into the underlying silts and clays during wet weather by heavy vehicles, resulting in short resheet cycles.Reform the road profile to shed water and clean out surface drainage. Gravel resheet by placing a new layer of gravel along the worst affected segments between chainages 24.5 to 27.19km and 32.27 to 38.22km, and patch gravel the balance including previously gravelled segments where damaged. Add a stabilising agent.
Glenderry Road (Rural Road) - 056627-15NSW-RTR
Unsealed road gravel pavement is worn down and becoming rutted and slippery when wet.Gravel resheet by placing a new layer of gravel along the affected road segment, including reforming the road profile to shed water and clean out surface drainage. Add a stabilising agent if appropriate to the material.
