Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Paddington Street, North Perth - 055292-14WA-RTR
Deteriorated road asphalt surface and substandard kerbing sectionsReseal deteriorated road surface with a 30mm stone mastic asphalt overlay and replace substandard kerbing where required to prolong the life of the asset and improve level of surface
Ringwood Road (Alice Springs Rural) - 055295-14NT-RTR
Ringwood Road provides access to 5 large cattle stations and several small indigenous communities. The road is well used by mining exploration. It is also part of the Binns Track providing a 4WD experience for tourism. The road is currently experiencing very dry conditions, with very high road train usage for cattle transport. This heavy vehicle traffic has caused numerous sections of road to deteriorate into deep bulldust. This year there has been reports of 3 rollovers involving road train trailers, due to the poor pavement conditions.Reform existing pavement, construct a new gravel base course and improve drainage.
Elgin Road, Elgin WA6237 - 055296-14WA-RTR
This portion of Elgin Road shows multiple significant failures of the sub-base and road pavement. Emergency repairs are also showing signs of failure and need to be addressed to ensure road serviceability. This narrow portion of the road also requires widening to meet current design criteria.To reconstruct and widen formation and seal road.
Boundary Road, The Plains, WA6237 - 055297-14WA-RTR
Visual inspection confirms the road is in poor condition, many areas cracked and seal width is narrow where vehicles are required to drive onto the shoulder.To widen to 6.2 metres and bitumen reseal.Total cost of proposed project is $167,869
Gelorup Rise, Gelorup, WA6230 - 055298-14WA-RTR
Visual inspection confirms Gelorup Road surface is exhibiting signs of deterioration and requires repairs to the existing road surface and a second coat seal to preserve the road.To second coat seal.
Stirling Road, Capel, WA6271 - 055299-14WA-RTR
Visual inspection confirms the construction works completed in 2014/2015 requires minor repairs and a second coat seal.Second coat seal required to protect the first coat seal.
Kookaburra Way, Capel WA6271 - 055300-14WA-RTR
The road surface and adjoining kerb is exhibiting signs of failure.Minor repairs to kerbing and an asphalt overlay.
Narembeen Corrigin Road, Narembeen (Rural) - 055301-14WA-RTR
Significant road deterioration. Narrow seal increasing danger to travellers. Increased traffic due to high volume of heavy vehicle traffic.Reconstruct, widen to eight metre, improve drainage and two coat seal.
Bundigerry Road, (rural road) - 055304-14NSW-RTR
Excessive potholes in road surface; dust issue for urbanised outskirt of Narrandera Town; sight distance issue.Remove two small trees for sight distance, provide gravel and seal
Ebony Street, Kununurra town site - 055305-14WA-RTR
Existing wearing course comprising bitumen spray chip seal has reached end of its serviceable lifeScarify top 3mm to 5mm road pavement surfaceand supply and lay 30mm nominal compacted thickness 10mm aggregate asphalt mix design Reinsate line marking of on-street car parking bays following completion of asphalt surfacing treatment
