Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Roto Road, (Rural Road) - 055516-14NSW-RTR
The existing Gravel/Dirt surface is prone to rutting and ravelling and is also is impassable during wet weather.Propose to Rehabilitate the area by adding a nominal 50mm gravel, mix with existing, compact and primer seal to a width of 8 metres. road is used by heavy combination vehicles and mixed with normal traffic. There is a requirement to also replace a 4 cell box culvert that is damaged and in a flood zone.
Merungle Road, (rural road) - 055517-14NSW-RTR
The existing gravel/Dirt surface is prone to rutting and ravelling and is impassable during and after wet weather.Propose to reconstruct the area by adding a nominal 200mm gravel material, compact, shape and primer seal to a width of 7mts. Road is used by heavy combination vehicles and mixed with normal traffic.
East Street, Couridjah - 055522-14NSW-RTR
The current road is unsealed, narrow and rough. Its amenity for the residents is poor. the maintenance costs for Council for this road are high.To widen the road by adding granular material and grading the road and table drains, then seal the road with a two coat bitumen seal.
Chowey Bridge Road, Biggenden Queensland - 055532-14QLD-RTR
Road is constructed with a poor quality material that becomes slippery in the wet.Gravel resheet with superior quality gravel to provide a non slip surface in the wet.
Monogorilby Road, Mundubbera Queensland - 055533-14QLD-RTR
Existing road surface is constructed with poor quality material which becomes slippery in wet weather.Gravel resheet with a superior quality gravel to provide a non slip surface in the wet.
Marrar South Road (Rural Road) - 055534-14NSW-RTR
These sections have inferior subgrade and have suffered extensive deformation and cracking as a result of increased heavy vehilce movements and rainfall. The existing pavement displays extensive edge damage on sections that have not received heavy patching. The edge damage involves deep drop offs and breaking away of the seal into the travel path.Rehabilitate road by excavating unsuitable material, adding suitable crushed gravel, stabilise road subgrade, grade and roll to desired shape and compaction, followed by a bitumen seal. Clear culvert, mitres, tabledrains and reinstate missing guide posts
Matong North Road (Rural Road) - 055535-14NSW-RTR

Pavement is displaying deterioration with extensive cracking and minor shoving requiring a reseal to prevent further damage and reinstate an impermeable surface.Minor bitumen maintenance such as pothole and edge break repair prior to applying bitumen reseal.
