Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Channel Road, Walkamin - 055846-15QLD-RTR
The existing 5m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of commercial vehicles now using this section of Channel Road. Two vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users. The existing road pavement is also substandard and is showing signs of detoriation from heavy use by commercial vehicles.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 5m wide bitumen road to 7m to allow the safe passing of commercial vehicles and the reconstruction of the road pavement to improve it's load bearing capacity.Total cost of proposed project is $769,213
Dibden Street - 055847-15QLD-RTR

Gunnawarra Road, Gunnawarra - 055848-15QLD-RTR

Wrights Creek Road, Lake Eacham - 055854-15QLD-RTR
The steel girders which support the 20m long concrete running deck are in poor condition due to their age and rust damage.The first stage is to investigate options and prepapre the detailed design for the removal of the existing concrete deck and steel girders and replace with concrete interlocking girders and undertake some minor roadway approach works.
Norman Street, St. Marys - 055856-15SA-RTR
The kerb and water table on both sides of Norman Street are in very poor condition. The kerbing is displaced both vertically and horizontally due to soil movement and tree growth.. The road pavement is significantly deformed due to the reactive sub-grades in the area. Norman Street is 540 meters in length and classified as a “Local” road with a vehicle traffic volume of 400 vehicles per day.It is proposed to replace all of the kerbing on both sides of Norman Street. The kerb replacement will be followed by the removal of the road seal and pavement. The road will be replaced with a 70mm Asphalt pavement followed with 30mm Asphalt seal.
Norman Court, St. Marys - 055857-15SA-RTR

Norman Court is 50 meters in length and classified as a “Local” road with a vehicle traffic volume of 50 vehicles per dayIt is proposed to replace all of the kerbing on both sides of Norman Court. The kerb replacement will be followed by the removal of the road seal and pavement. The road will be replaced with a 100mm Asphalt pavement followed with 40mm Asphalt seal. The work in Norman Court will complement the work proposed in Norman Street.
Rowland Road (Rural Road) - 055858-15WA-RTR
Repair drainage issues under the roadSupply and installation of 750 millimetre diametre concrete rubber ring joint class 2 drainage pipes.
Newenham Rd, Springfield - 055859-15SA-RTR
The kerb and water table on both sides of Newenham Road are in poor condition due to environmental factors and their age. The road pavement is deformed resulting in poor ride ability. Newenham Road is 215 meters in length and is classified as a “Local” road with a vehicle traffic volume of 50 vehicles per day.It is proposed to replace all of the kerbing on both sides of Newenham Road. The kerb replacement will be followed by the removal of the road seal and pavement. The road will be replaced with a 40mm Asphalt pavement followed with 30mm Asphalt seal.
East Parkway, Colonel Light Gardens - 055861-15SA-RTR
East Parkway is a relatively high trafficked road and bus route. The road pavement and seal are showing signs of distress with significant failed areas. Testing of the existing road pavement indicates that the road pavement is deficient of road base materials by 270mm. East Parkway is 755 meters in length and is classified as a “Distributor” road with a vehicle traffic volume of 4,575 vehicles per day.It is proposed to replace the road seal and pavement with a 130mm Asphalt pavement followed with 40mm Asphalt seal.
