Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Pirlangimpi to Three Ways Road (Rural Road) - 057467-15NT-RTR
During the wet season water crosses the main road causing major washouts, requiring constant repair to keep the road open.The proposed work will consist of two elements. They are: a) Install two (2)450mm storm water pipes and head walls under road at the T section and the low point on the highway, and; b) Raise the road level 200mm for 600 metres. This will be 300 meters either side of the T Section.
Fourth Avenue, Klemzig - 057470-15SA-RTR
Multiple pavement failures have been observed along the road. Potholes and asphalt cracking are also present. Kerb and gutter maintenance is required due to soil movement and damage by vehicles.Excavation and replacement of sections of kerb and gutter, Asphalt profiling, scrap coating and reseal up to 100mm thick.
Hughes Street, Denham - 057471-15WA-RTR
Serious longitudinal cracking in slurry seal and replace kerbing and upgrade of stormwater drainage.Profile out old slurry seal and replace with new hotmix. Upgrade stormwater pipe from 100mm to 300mm and install new kerbs.
Finlay Road, Tongala - 057473-15VIC-RTR
Rehabilitation of the existing pavement as it has reached intervention level, it is described as being in very poor condition with serviceability now being affected and increased maintenance costs.Work will be carried out to resurface the pavement with a new layer of bitumen and wearing aggregate (stone) (Length 400m x Width 6.2m)
McKenzie Street, Echuca - 057474-15VIC-RTR
The kerb and channel is old and not functioning properly causing storm water build up.The kerb and channel is old and not functioning properly causing storm water build up. Replacement of a 250m section of kerb and channel. This section has been identified as requiring renewal based on condition and prioritised based on condition assessments. A small part of Freeman Street is also included to allow for connection into an existing side entry pit and to match into invert levels.
Hume Street, Echuca - 057475-15VIC-RTR

Mount Terrick Road, Mitiamo (rural road) - 057478-15VIC-RTR
Rural road culvert was identified as failing under adopted service levels. If the culvert is not renewed it will lead to further deterioration of the road pavement and impede on rural drainage and ultimately the culvert collapsing. Temporary works have undertaken to make the culvert safe until full renewal can be completed.Removal of existing culvert structure and replacement of the culvert to appropriate infrastructure standards, replace/renew guide posts, clearing and removal of rubbish and disposal of all unusable material to off-site tip or approved location.
Arrow Court, Echuca - 057479-15VIC-RTR
Rehabilitation of the existing pavement as it has reached intervention level, it is described as being in very poor condition with serviceability now being affected and increased maintenance costs.Work will be carried out to resurface the pavement with a new layer of bitumen and wearing aggregate (stone) (115m x 4m)
Dobie Road, Toolleen - 057480-15VIC-RTR
Components of the bridge have been listed as failed or are failing under the adopted service level, being a missing timber pile, north east wing wall to be made sound and the timber wing wall panel to be replaced. The bridge crosses a natural water course and has a total span of 16.8m in length by 5.2m width.To reinstate the bridge components, replace the missing pile to prolong the life of the structure. Install delineation markers to enable clear sightlines to road users for all weather conditions.
Burnewang Road, Rochester - 057481-15VIC-RTR
Concerns were raised during investigations of the flood events to infrastructure and inspections indicate that the guard fence does not meet Australian Standards.Guardrails need to be renewed at two culvert sites as the guardrails are not up to current standards.
