Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Dry Creek Road, Donovans - 058075-15SA-RTR
Road is unsafe due to poor drainage and localised flooding. Water cannot drain off the road due to deterioration of the road. Forms part of township improvement plan for Donovans, road improved with kerb and drainage.Kerb and seal intersection 200m at 8m wide.
McKay Road (Rural Road) - 058076-15SA-RTR
Road is unsafe due to poor drainage and localised flooding, creating potholes. Upgrade from unsealed to sealed forms improvement plan for this road, addressing increased traffic.Reconstruct and seal 400m section at 7m wide (9m formation).
Sunnyside Road, Gruyere - 058077-15VIC-RTR
The existing bridge has an ageing steel beam and timber deck structure and forms a vital access link for the community. The existing bridge is too narrow for two way traffic, the speed zone is 80km/h and non-vehicular traffic is poorly catered for.Replacement of the existing bridge structure with a new concrete construction, 8.5 metre wide with a 16 metre span, that will meet current day traffic loadings. Widening on road approaches to suit new bridge width. A pedestrian path will be provided on the bridge structure.
Station Street, Belgrave - 058078-15VIC-RTR
The existing sealed road has deteriorated significantly, with cracking, edge breaks and potholes evident. Rehabilitation of the road surface is necessary. The roadway is a local road. Upgrading of the road will improve local amenity and safety of access for road users.Rehabilitation of the existing sealed road pavement for a length of 750 metres from Belgrave-Hallam Road to Benson Street, widening the existing road by 1 metre, and constructing kerb and channel to improve drainage.
McIver Road, Mareeba - 058079-15QLD-RTR
The existing 3.5m wide bitumen seal and concrete causeway is too narrow for the number of school buses and passenger vehicles now using this section of McLver Road. Two vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users. The existing road pavement is also substandard and is showing signs of detoriation from heavy use by commercial vehicles.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 3.5m wide bitumen road to 7.5m to allow the safe passing of school buses and passenger vehicles and the reconstruction of the road pavement to improve it's load bearing capacity. This work also includes the widening of an existing concrete causeway.
Brickley Street - 058080-15QLD-RTR
The street is not sealed full width to the existing kerb and channel, which creates a dust problem in the dry season and is too boggy in the wet when cars enter and exit their properties.The proposed works include widening of the existing bitumen by approximately 3.0m each side to connect with the existing kerb and channel
Chewko Road (rural road) - 058081-15QLD-RTR
The existing 3.5m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of commercial and passenger vehicles now using this section of Chewko Road. Two vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users. The existing road pavement is also substandard and is showing signs of detoriation from heavy useThe proposed works include the widening of the existing 3.5m wide bitumen road to 6.5m to allow the safe passing of commercial and passenger vehicles and the reconstruction of the road pavement to improve it's load bearing capacity.Total cost of proposed project is $590,000
Tyrconnell Road - 058082-15QLD-RTR
The existing 4.0m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of commercial and passenger vehicles now using this section of Chewko Road. Two vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road, verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 4.0m wide bitumen road to 6.5m to allow the safe passing of commercial and passenger vehicles.
Kay Road (rural road) - 058083-15QLD-RTR
The existing 4.0m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of commercial vehicles now using this section of Kay Road. Two vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 4.0m wide bitumen road to 6.5m to allow the safe passing of commercial and passenger vehicles.
Koah Road - 058084-15QLD-RTR
The existing 3.5m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of vehicles now using this section of Koah Road. Two vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 3.5m wide bitumen road to 6.5m to allow the safe passing of two vehicles without the need to utilise the gravel verge.
