Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Charteris Street, Port Elliot - 062900-15SA-RTR
Road seal has deteriorated and is at the end of its life.Section to be resealed with 2 coat spray seal.
Laughtons Road, Kalimna - 062901-15VIC-RTR
Failing Seal- Seal is aged oxidising and crackingRehabilitation, asphalt regulation, edge repairs and crack sealing will be undertaken as preparation works prior to the commencement of sealing work and reinstatement of line marking
Read Road(Rural Road) - 062902-15SA-RTR
The rubble road surface has worn away exposing the natural earth formation. Vegetation has overgrown which has narrowed the usable road width.Trim back roadside vegetation in accordance with the Native Vegetation Management Plane. Resheet the length of Read Road.Total cost of proposed project is $225,400
Quandong Drive (Rural Road) - 062904-15SA-RTR
The road is the access point for 10 shack sites and a lookout at its eastern most point. The road experiences significant clay saturation and is regularly impassable during and after inclement weather resulting in limited access and egress from the shack sites.Council is proposing to resheet Quandong Drive with 100mm of crushed concrete followed by a 10/5 two coat spray seal to a width of 4m (approximately 400m in length).
Ooldea Road, Maralinga Tjarutja (Rural Road) - 062905-15SA-RTR
These arterial dirt roads require regular maintenance and restoration work to rectify natural deterioration. The roads have again got severe to moderate potholing in various parts as well as significant corrugation and rutting. The road surface has also become fragmented resulting in excessive loose gravel and other material. These problems represent significant safety hazards for road users including Oak Valley community members, service providers, suppliers, mining workers, tourists and other travellers due to the poor condition of the road and increased risk of collision with camels and other large animals emerging from the overgrown parts of roadsides.Re-grading and other remedial work including filling holes, re-widening, watering and rolling. Grading will commence at Oodea to the Western Australian border Proposed area graded is 310km
Bellevue Street - 062906-15NSW-RTR
Inadequate and deteriorated traffic barrier at end of Cardigan Street with Bellevue Street (T-intersection) that need replacement with improved traffic barrier. These road and traffic barrier are located at a great height on top of a cliff posing further risk to traffic safety.(1) Deteriorated Traffic Safety Barrier to be replaced. Barrier is located at significant height and therefore involves high risk and appropriate design shall be adopted for the containment of vehicular traffic.(2) The new barrier has footing so some part of road needs to be removed and rebuilt after the footing is constructed.

Old Gosford Road, Wamberal - 062909-15NSW-RTR
This road is situated between a regional road and state highway. It is too narrow for the increasing volume of traffic. There is little or no formal drainage and no foot way. Parking on the northern side is difficult due to the open drain. Residents have expressed concern about excessive speed of motorists traveling between the two main roads.To widen Old Gosford Road to 8.0 metres over a distance of 245 metres. Provide kerb and gutter and footpath both sides. Pipe the open drain on the northern side. Re-grade the pavement. Construct retaining walls. Substantial utilities and driveway adjustments. Provide raised platform at intersection with Ghersi Avenue for traffic calming purposes.Total cost of proposed project is $727,600
Frenchman Drive, Port Elliot - 062910-15SA-RTR
This section of road is at the end of its life and due to be renewed.The intersection will be resealed using asphalt and the remaining section of road will be resurfaced with 2 coat spray seal.
