Magpie Hollow Road (South Bowenfels) - 062971-15NSW-RTR
Subsurface instability and poor quality seal has caused mass pavement failure over a 1.5km section. Such failures include severe surface cracking, potholing, edge cracking and depressions. The seal for this 1.5km section will be removed in sections where the road has degraded. In these areas, the subsurface will be ripped and blended with high quality road base. The road base will then be sufficiently compacted and allowed to sit for two weeks prior to seal to determine any further subsurface deficiencies in these areas. Upon rectification of any further issues, a two-coat 20/10 seal will be laid to replace that which was removed. Table drains will be reformed and stormwater culverts and pipes will be cleared to rectify drainage issues.
Talbot Street (Fingal) - 062972-15TAS-RTR
Road seal breaking up from traffic use over time, allowing water to get into the pavement, causing defects and creating safety hazards for motorists.Perform patching repairs to road pavement, then install new seal over the road.

Glen Alice Road (Glen Alice) - 062979-15NSW-RTR
Severe surface rutting and potholing as a result of an unsealed surface being subject to adverse weather and predominant use by heavy traffic and poor weather conditions. Roadside drainage in this area is inadequate which exacerbates potholing and rutting.A m section of Glen Alice Road adjoining the exiting seal will be remediated and sealed. This area will be ripped, graded with new roadbase material, compacted and sealed with an 8m wide 20/10 two-coat seal. Table drains will be reformed and additional stormwater culverts and pipes will be installed to rectify drainage issues.
