Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Kukerin Road, Nyabing - 063376-15WA-RTR
With the recent change in access route to Cooperative Bulk Handling grain receival facility in Nyabing problems have arisen at and around the Kukerin Road access to the site but also for through traffic travelling this section of road. The works will address problems of a narrow roadway where heavy vehicle traffic is significant, road surface issues due to increased traffic, asphalt to the heavy vehicle access point to the Cooperative Bulk Handling site and drainage issues at various points along this section of road. The basis of the problem being addressed is one of asset protection/management.Widen pavement, stabilise and seal to 7m. clear and widen to 12 metres drain width and improve drainage where required.
Service Rd, Tallangatta - 063378-15VIC-RTR
Seal and pavement deterioration due to water penetration.Major patching and stabilisation of pavement of approximately 500 square metres.
Acocks St, Corryong - 063379-15VIC-RTR
Kerb has deteriorated and contains cracks beyond Councils intervention levels. it has also rotated and is causing water to pool on the road.Remove existing kerb and replace with newTotal cost of proposed project is $41,778
Argyle Street, Maclean - 063380-15NSW-RTR
Parts of Argyle Street flood in heavy rainfall due to there being insufficient capacity in the existing stormwater system.Additional 2 x 675 mm diameter pipelines will be installed along Argyle Street commencing on the western side of McLachlan Street intersection and extending 76 m along Argyle Street towards Woodford Street.Total cost of proposed project is $161,380
Georges Creek Road (rural road) - 063381-15VIC-RTR
Narrow windy gravel road with section that often floods due to inundation by adjacent waterway.Remove material from the Western bank on the bends to widen and straighten road. Use this material to build up the road where the flooding occurs on the straight section between the Murray River Rd and chainiage 200m
Mindarra Drive, Newman - 063382-15WA-RTR
Sealed carriageway surface identified with pavement failures, majority of surface area worn off and insufficient drainage caused issues.Undertake design to improve drainage capacity with higher size storm water drainage line and new pits, reconstruct failed pavement section and apply dense Graded size 10 Asphalt Reseal over 7.55 m wide 460 m carriageway.
Burrows Street, Newman - 063383-15WA-RTR
Sealed carriageway surface identified with pavement failures, majority of surface area worn off and insufficient drainage caused issues.Undertake design to improve drainage capacity with higher size storm water drainage line and new pits, reconstruct failed pavement section and apply dense Graded size 10 Asphalt Reseal over 7.55 m wide 170 m carriageway.
Danubin Street, Wongan Hills - 063385-15WA-RTR
Culvert failure and drain line damaged due to heavy rain and heavy traffic.Repair culvert and repair sub-base material and re line open drainage system.
Fenton Place, Wongan Hills - 063386-15WA-RTR
This section of road sub-base has been compromised by tree roots which have lifted the road surface to an unsafe condition.Remove tree roots, repair sub-base and reseal road and re-mark white lines.
Cadoux Koorda Road, Rural Road - 063387-15WA-RTR
The shoulders on this section of road need to be repaired and widened due to being badly degraded by high level of heavy traffic.Rebuild and widen gravel shoulders to 7.0 meters on this section of road and seal to 7 meters
