Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Pnuemonia Road, (Rural Road) - 063516-16WA-RTR
Pnuemonia Road in this section is a 3.5metre wide gravel track that does not have width for vehicles to pass on. Water logging. This is a main entrance to a National ParkClear, install drainage and construct to 5 meters wide gravel formation.
Corinthia West Road, Corinthia - 063520-16WA-RTR
The existing road surface is made up principally of loose and clay based material that is slippery when wet.In an effort to rectify this problem it is proposed to carry out a Gravel Sheeting program on this road. This work involves importing of gravel from designated gravel pits and improving the road surface drainage in an effort to provide an all weather road. Project length 2,000 metres Project width 9 metres
Unkovich Road, Southern Cross - 063521-16WA-RTR
The existing road surface is made up principally of loose and clay based material that is slippery when wet.In an effort to rectify this problem it is proposed to carry out a Gravel Sheeting program on this road. This work involves importing of gravel from designated gravel pits and improving the road surface drainage in an effort to provide an all weather road. Project length 2,500 metres Project width 9 metres

Oodnadatta Track (Marla - Marree Road, Rural Road) - 063538-16SA-RTR
The targeted section of road is low lying and requires forming and sheeting to get above natural surface level. The existing road material is marginal and turns to bulldust in summer and becomes very slippery after moderate rainfall.The work will involve forming and sheeting of targeted sections with crushed rocks. Sheeting will be 150mm – 200mm in depth with 23m formation having a carriageway width of 9 metres and table drains on each side of the road.Total cost of proposed project is $3,463,815
Meredith-Shelford Road, Bamganie - 063539-16VIC-RTR
Existing narrow sealed road carrying increased traffic volumes, requires additional pavement and width to improve capacity and safety. Deficiencies being addressed are the road edge shoulder deterioration, drainage improvements and pavement failure.200mm deep gravel resheet, widen and seal to 6.2m wide.
McPhillips Road, Bannockburn - 063540-16VIC-RTR
Existing narrow sealed road carrying increased traffic volumes, requires additional pavement and width to improve capacity and safety. Deficiencies being addressed are the road edge shoulder deterioration, drainage improvements and pavement failure.Construct a new 300mm deep pavement along with kerb and channel and associated underground drainage to improve capacity.
