Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Nichols Street Marble Bar, - 063572-16WA-RTR
Street provides access to residential properties and Council's Works Depot at the end of the Street. Currently there is no street lighting in place significantly impacting visibility and road safety.Install 4 x new 42W Street light heads and outreach brackets on existing above ground power poles.
Bestry Road (Rural road) - 063575-16WA-RTR
The shape of the road does not allow for adequate run off of rainfall and the existing road surface material becomes very slippery when wet.The proposed works involve reforming the shape of the road, gravelling the surface and improving drainage.
Peerless Rd, Munno Para West - 063576-16SA-RTR
Munno Para West is an area of the City of Playford that is experiencing rapid urban development. As the area was formerly rural living, local collector roads are at a rural standard i.e. narrow, spray sealed and with swale drains. The majority of Peerless Rd has been upgraded by developers, by the remaining 400 m is narrower, which can be confusing to motorists. Peerless Rd needs to be upgraded to an urban standard, and this proposed project would complete those works.Reconstruction and road widening, including new pavement, seal, kerb and associated underground drainage and footpath.
North Road (Rural road) - 063577-16WA-RTR
Road becomes very slippery when wet, there is inadequate shape to the road which has created potholes.To gravel the road, reshaping it to allow water to run off.
Norrish Road (Rural road) - 063578-16WA-RTR
The road becomes slippery when wet and the is inadequate drainage including a culvert that requires replacing.To lift the road surface, widen slightly, replace culvert, gravel and reshape the surface.
North Road (Rural road) - 063580-16WA-RTR
The narrow seal has led to the bitumen seal breaking away and shoulders dropping off creating a hazard to vehicles. There is also vegetation that requires pruning and removing as it makes it difficult for vehicles to pass one another.Proposal is to cut back the vegetation, lengthen the existing culverts, gravel the shoulders and seal widen out from the current width of 4 metres to 7 metres.
Maya East Road (Rural road) - 063581-16WA-RTR
Existing narrow seal has created drop offs on the unsealed shoulders and caused freating of the seal edges.To widen the existing seal from 4 metres to 7 metres.
Corunna Downs Access Road (Rural Road) - 063582-16WA-RTR
Unsealed Road. This section traverses through a winding rocky hilly terrain with a poor road surface.Minor realignments to sharp curves,improvements to line of sight, reconstruct using more suitable gravel materials and install advisory signage and guideposts.
Coorow Maya Road (Rural road) - 063583-16WA-RTR
Inadequate surface material creates corrugations and becomes very dusty.To gravel the surface and water bind.
Cannon Road (Rural road) - 063584-16WA-RTR
Inadequate road width and shape with sections that are slippery when wet and becomes very corrugated when dry.To widen the road, reform the shape and gravel whilst improving the drainage.
