Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Perup Road (rural road) - 063721-16WA-RTR
The existing seal measures less than four metres in width and the existing road formation is less than 8 metres in width.Where necessary, lengthen exiting culverts so that they are wide enough to allow construction of the road to the design width. replace sub standard culverts. Place culverts on road intersections. Realign intersection with Ducton Road to acceptable angle. Form road formation to 8 metres in width. Import, spread and compact 150 milimetres of compacted gravel. Place six metre wide spray seal. Place guideposts and linemarking as per appropriate guidelines and Standards.Total cost of proposed project is $435,000
Windy Harbour Road (rural road) - 063723-16WA-RTR
The existing pavement width is between 5.5 metres and 6.0 metres with narrow shoulders and does not conform to the requirements of the Shire's Road Hierarchy. Sections have significant rutting and incorrect cross falls resulting in weater settling in wheel paths and/or the centre of the road. No formed table drains exist.Where necessary, lengthen exiting culverts so that they are wide enough to allow construction of the road to the design width. replace sub standard culverts. Place or replace culverts on road intersections (as necessary). Form road formation to 8 metres in width. Import, spread and compact 150 milimetres of compacted gravel. Place six metre wide spray seal. Place guideposts and linemarking as per appropriate guidelines and StandardsTotal cost of proposed project is $458,936
Magpie Creek Road ( Rural Road) - 063725-16SA-RTR

Avon Road (Rural Road) - 063726-16SA-RTR
Poor drainage and deformation due to lack of road surface material. A poor surface standard which is difficult for road users to negotiate in wet wether conditions.Rip and reform road and add material to reconstruct to original design levels. Improve drainage to ensure the road remains trafficable during wet weather and provide a smooth surface to road users.Total cost of proposed project is $213,312
Silverdale Road, The Oaks - 063727-16NSW-RTR
Road surface is rough with many areas patched and some still failing. It is costing too much to maintain and providing a reduced amenity for users.To rip the existing surface and spread and compact 200 mm of granular material and then finish it with a two coat spray seal surface treatment.Total cost of proposed project is $849,811
Beaufort Road (Rural Road) - 063728-16SA-RTR
Poor drainage due to lack of road material and deformation, high maintenace effort, poor standard rough surface difficault to negotiate due to being slippery in wet conditions.Rip and reform road and add material to reconstruct to original design levels. Improve drainage to ensure the road remains trafficable during wet weather and provide smooth surface to road users.Total cost of proposed project is $212,000
Black Range Road ( Rural Road) - 063729-16SA-RTR

Road is narrow and has failed badly. It requires reconstruction to a wider standard to improve road safety and to cater for increasing regional traffic volumes. This project will include vegetation removal, earthworks, drainage and formation preparation for future road reconstruction.Remove vegetation as required to widen formation to 9.0 metres, carry out earthworks, upgrade/extend drainage crossings and open drains..Total cost of proposed project is $225,000
