Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Reconstruction of the intersection is proposed for the 2016/17 Roads to Recovery Programme.

Reconstruction of the road is proposed for the 2016/17 Roads to Recovery Programme.
Marom Creek Road, Marom Creek - 061182-15NSW-RTR
Old pavement and seal has failed showing pavement rutting and shoving with significant patching, which requires high maintenance resources.Reconstruction of pavement and seal for a length of approximately 540 metres with a width of 6 metres including removal and replacement of unsuitable subgrade material. Includes installation of replacement drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $285,000
Midgen Flat Road, Newrybar - 061183-15NSW-RTR
Old pavement and seal has failed showing pavement rutting and shoving with significant patching, which requires high maintenance resources.Reconstruction of pavement and seal for a length of approximately 380 metres with a width of 8 metres including removal and replacement of unsuitable subgrade material. Includes installation of approximately 150 metres of kerb and gutter and replacement drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $255,759
Talwood -Mungindi Road (Rural Road) - 061184-15QLD-RTR
Insufficient gravel on shoulders of narrow seal creating potential safety issue due to edge drop and causing ongoing damage to the seal edge.Lay 50mm-100mm of gravel on shoulders and finish level with seal and associated drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $100,000
Jabiru Drive, Barmaryee - 061185-15QLD-RTR
Currently Jabiru drive is accessed through a priority controlled intersection at Milroy Drive on Yeppoon Road. Jabiru Drive provides access to a number of industrial properties through. However, with large number of industrial vehicles entering and exiting Jabiru Drive on a daily basis, this intersection proved to be inefficient and unsafe for both local and industrial traffic. Council has future plans to connect Jabiru Drive to Yeppoon Road / Jordy Drive signalised intersection to mitigate these issues. Under this project, Stage 1 of a new Industrial Collector is constructed, from existing signalised intersection on Yeppoon Road to existing Jabiru Drive. This road provides safer and more efficient connection to the Jabiru Drive industrial area including the landfill site, whilst improving safety and efficiency of the adjacent road network.Construction of a new Industrial Collector road and connection to landfill site, to a length of 250m approximately.Total cost of proposed project is $636,676
Greenup-Limevale Road (Rural Road) - 061186-15QLD-RTR
Traffic safety issue arising from insufficient seal width causing vehicles to drop onto shoulders on corners and when interacting with other traffic.Widening gravel pavement from 6 metres to 8 metres and seal from 5 metres to 7 metres.
