Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Major rainfall event caused significant erosion damage to a recently completed road construction project.Reinstate road edges and shoulders
Leane Drive, Eltham - 061760-15VIC-RTR
Traffic speed and road safety. Leane Drive provides a short cut for through traffic at higher than acceptable speeds. Local Area Traffic Management Works are required to deter cut throughs and reduce traffic speed.Installation of an asphalt raised intersection treatment at the Leane Drive - Marion Way Intersection, installation of two Watts profile road humps in Leane Drive, between marion Way and Mirtilga Place and the installation of another asphalt raised pavement treatment at the Leane Drive Mirtilga Place intersection. This would include all signage and linemearking.
Anzac Avenue, Chambers Flat - 061762-15QLD-RTR
Anzac Avenue, Chambers Flat is a local government road which is deteriorating in condition and is entering the later portions of its surfacing life cycle. Based on modelling from Council’s Pavement Management System it is appropriate to resurface Anzac Avenue to maximise retention of road value in the underlying pavement.Pavement Rehabilitation for the entire length (975 metres, excluding the bridge) of Anzac Avenue, from Waterford-Tamborine Road to Kirk Road. Works are to involve the milling of isolated failures, asphalt resurfacing and spray seal treatments. The extent of works include 540 metres of Asphalt Resurfacing and 435 metres of Spray Seal Resurfacing.
Browns Plains Road, Browns Plains - 061763-15QLD-RTR
Browns Plains Road, Browns Plains is a local government road which is deteriorating in condition and is entering the later portions of its surfacing life cycle. Based on modelling from Council’s Pavement Management System it is appropriate to resurface Browns Plains Road to maximise retention of road value in the underlying pavement.Pavement Rehabilitation is required for 390 metres of Browns Plains Road, from the intersection of Browns Plains Road and Mt Lindesay Highway Service Road heading East. Works involve the milling of isolated failures and asphalt resurfacing. The works will also extend north from the Browns Plains Road and Mt Lindesay Highway Service Road Intersection by 140 meters. Isolated sections of failed concrete kerb and channel will be replaced under a separate project prior to pavement resurfacing works.
Browns Plains Road, Crestmead - 061764-15QLD-RTR
Browns Plains Road, Crestmead is a local government road which is deteriorating in condition and is entering the later portions of its surfacing life cycle. Based on modelling from Council’s Pavement Management System it is appropriate to resurface Browns Plains Road to maximise retention of road value in the underlying pavement.Pavement Rehabilitation is required for a total distance of 700 metres of Browns Plains Road, from Bayliss Road to Magnesium Drive. The works will primarily involve the milling and replacement of isolated failures as well as full asphalt resurfacing of the Magnesium Drive Roundabout.
Loganlea Road,Meadowbrook - 061765-15QLD-RTR
Loganlea Road, Meadowbrook is a local government road which is deteriorating in condition and is entering the later portions of its surfacing life cycle. Based on modelling from Council’s Pavement Management System it is appropriate to resurface Loganlea Road to maximise retention of road value in the underlying pavement.Pavement Rehabilitation is required for 540 metres of Loganlea Road, from the northern railway bridge abutment heading north (ending at Logan Motorway on ramp). Works involve the milling of isolated failures and asphalt resurfacing. Works may also include minor drainage treatments to affected pavement areas. Isolated sections of failed kerb and channel will be replaced under a separate project prior to the pavement resurfacing works.
