Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Patawalonga Road, Claude Road (Rural Road) - 061845-15TAS-RTR
An approved and qualified contractor has carried out an annual inspection, this inspection identified that the runners, decking, abutments and kerbs were failing requiring urgent replacement of the bridge.Replace current wooden bridge with a concrete bridge.
Bealiba Wehla Road (Rural Road) - 061846-15VIC-RTR
The headwall and drop structure on this culvert has failed causing considerable erosionIt is proposed to replace the headwall and drop structure with new reinforced concrete components
Franklin Street, Manjimup - 061847-15WA-RTR
The existing sub-grade is failing causing the road to deform significantly. The existing culverts are in poor condition and/or have insufficient capacity.Stage 1: Undertake survey, design and purchase of drainage materials to enable stage 2 works: construct the road with sufficient pavement stability and thickness so that it is suitable for heavy vehicle access to the Manjimup industrial estate. Construct to the standard detailed in the Shire policy: Road Hierarchy for a road in an industrial estate. replace culverts and headwalls as required. Place kerbing as detailed in the policy.
Houston Street and Southey Street (Inglewood) - 061848-15VIC-RTR
The road drainage at this intersection has failed causing water to impact recently constructed residential propertiesIt is proposed to reconstruct and reshape the existing roadside table drains and to place underground drainage to ensure that the properties are not impacted
Kelly Cage Road, Weegena (Rural Road) - 061849-15TAS-RTR

This section of Ridge Street is a narrow seal and is beginning to fail due to increased traffic volumes in this areaIt is proposed to rehabilitate and widen this section of Ridge Street as well as place kerb and channel to facilitate better drainage
Yelka Street (Wedderburn) - 061851-15VIC-RTR
The site distance for this intersection has been reduced by the building of a house on the intersection of Ridge and Yelka Street. This road is also currently a gravel road with a steep approach to Ridge streetIt is proposed to realign this intersection both horizontally and vertically place a sealed pavement as well as kerb and channel at its intersection with Ridge Street
Vista Street, Walpole - 061854-15WA-RTR
The existing seal is stripping and requires a reseal to maintain integrity.Place a 25mm asphalt reseal.
Esplanade, Palm Island, 4816, QLD - 061855-15QLD-RTR
Blocked Drainage and potholes - damaged road impassable during wet season, rendering residents unable to access their properties1. Site Establishment and disestablishment; implementation of workplace and health safety act; detailed design and traffic control, 2. Preparation of Road base; 3. Spray Seal and 4.Clean up site
Moora Miling Road (Rural Road) - 061856-15WA-RTR
Existing sealed pavement has failed due to the road being a heavy haulage route with an increase in road train use in mainly carting grain to the Cooperative Bulk handling facility in MooraThe proposed work is to cement stabilise the existing pavement and to widen the seal from 6.2 to 7.0 metres with 1.5 metre wide gravel shoulders
