Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bath Street - 047526-12NT-RTR
Bitumen surface is cracked and failed due to increased traffic volumes and road openingsIt is proposed to remove the existing bitumen surface and sub base, raise existing power and water infrastructure and reconstruct and reseal the road.Total cost of proposed project is $300,000
Upper Daintree Road, Daintree - 047529-12QLD-RTR
The existing timber components of the bridge (superstructure) are beyond maintenance and need to be replaced.The existing timber components (stringers,joists and deck)of the bridge will be replaced with new laminated timber components.Total cost of proposed project is $1,150,000
Four Mile Creek Road (Rural Road) - 047530-12NSW-RTR
The traffic along the road generates dust which is a hazard for oncoming vehicles. There are also corrugations in the unsealed road surface which are a traffic hazard. The length of the road is 400 metres and the width is 6 metres.It is proposed to seal the road.
Mount Mackenzie Lookout Road (Rural Road) - 047531-12NSW-RTR
The traffic along the road generates dust which is a hazard for oncoming vehicles. There are also corrugations in the unsealed road surface which are a traffic hazard. The length of the road is 1300 metres and the width is 6 metres.It is proposed to seal the road.
Leeches Gully Road (Rural Road) - 047532-12NSW-RTR
The gravel road surface has been progressively lowered with grading causing drainage problems. The length of the road is 1300 metres and the width is 6 metres.It is proposed to reconstruct the road by raising it with gravel from the side of the road.
Railway Street (Tenterfield) - 047533-12NSW-RTR
The Stormwater runoff from the road runs off into adjoining properties causing flooding. The length of the road is 180 metres and the width is 9 metres.It is proposed to widen the road and install kerb and gutter.
Geyers Road (Rural Road) - 047534-12NSW-RTR
Causeway is regularly flooded causing residents to be stranded. The length of the causeway is 24 metres and the width is 4.88 metres.It is proposed to install box culverts to rectify the problem.
Crawford Terrace - 047546-12SA-RTR
Deterioration over time of existing road surface with particular emphasis on the repair of cracking, brittleness, shrinking and lifting.Profile existing asphalt to a depth of 50mm and reinstate with 50mm modified AC10M asphalt. Re-lining of traffic indicators.
Menangle Road, Menangle - 047548-12NSW-RTR
Menangle Road in this section is rough, with rutting and several areas of failure and patching.Rehabilitation of existing roadbase and surface to strengthen the road surface.Total cost of proposed project is $260,000
South Road (Rural Road) - 047550-12TAS-RTR
This bridge forms part of South Road which serves a number of rural properites, industries and tourist attractions to the south of Currie. It forms part of the major tourist route around King Island. Condition assessment of the existing timber bridge revealed extensive deterioration of the main structural members to the point where replacement is required.Propose to replace existing bridge with a new concrete bridge.
