Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Higgins Avenue, Wagga Wagga - 047691-12NSW-RTR
Higgins Avenue is in very poor condition with the road surface having major cracks and potholes. The kerb and gutter along Higgins Avenue is broken/cracked.Complete rehabilitation and reconstruction of the road ,drainage and kerb & gutter elements in Higgins Avenue.Total cost of proposed project is $924,337
Harcourt Street - 047703-12VIC-RTR
Defective kerb is allowing water to ingress into the road pavement.Works will include the construction of new kerb and channel and minor sealing of the road pavement on the eastern side of the street.
Westbrook Road(Rural Road) - - 047725-12NSW-RTR
The road is currently unsealed and has poor alignment and flooding issues in storm events which poses a risk to drivers.Sealing the road , improving the alignment and upgrading storm water culverts.
Innamincka Road (Rural Road), - 047728-12QLD-RTR
Deterioration of existing road i.e. bulldust, corrugation as a result of major increase in heavy vehicle traffic within the oil and gas industries in the area.Formation, earthworks, drainage, gravel pavement and bitumen sealing to a width of 8 metresTotal cost of proposed project is $2,875,647
Menzies Northwest Road No 0007, (rural road) - 047729-12WA-RTR
Road traverses through a number of sharp crests and creeks. There are three turn offs in this section to popular tourist locations which do not provide adequate sight visibility for traffic accessing these tourist.Clear and widen formation, excavate sharp crests, install culverts in a major creek, form up road. Win, load, haul and spread gravel, water bind and apply a bitumen a seal. Install roadside furniture and line marking.Total cost of proposed project is $741,000
Bingleburra Road - 047730-12NSW-RTR
Badly deteriorating pavement of substandard widthRehabilitation and widening of existing pavement to nominal 6.5m width
Hambledon Road, Campbelltown - 047740-12SA-RTR
To address the structural integrity of the road pavement due to soil movement and there is some drainage concern. This road has a severe environmental deformation and cracking with moderate load induce cracking. Surface texture has a severe defect. Council's Pavement Management System has indicated that this road is warranted for total road reconstruction.The work will involve a full road reconstruction by total excavation of road base and replacement with a deeper granular pavement to ensure the structure and integrity of the road from possible future soil movement. These work will involve replacing existing kerbs, driveway, traffic control (including roundabouts and pedestrian refuge) and improving the drainage system. The length of the road pavement being treated is 543m with width of 10.8m.Total cost of proposed project is $668,600
Humula 8 Mile Road (Rural Road) - 047742-12NSW-RTR
The intersection of Tumbarumba Road and Humula 8 Mile Road has very limited sight distance for vehicles turning out of Humula 8 Mile Road onto Tumbarumba Road . This poses a significant safety risk to drivers.The crest of the hill will be reduced by 4 metres and the alignment of the intersection will be improved to improve the sight distance for drivers entering Tumbarumba Road from Humula 8 Mile Road.Total cost of proposed project is $1,358,411
Toodyay Bindi Bindi Road - 047743-12WA-RTR
Main Roads Western Australia (MRWA) have advised the Shire of Toodyay that Toodyay Bindi Bindi Bridge No. 703 is at the end of its effective life with the timber decking and stringers in poor condition and requiring replacement. It is more cost effective to replace the bridge with culverts instead of repairing/renewing the bridge. The benefits are a new asset, improved width and when constructed to full formation, a guard rail is not required.It is proposed to replace Toodyay Bindi Bindi Road Bridge No. 703 with culverts. Quotes for a waterway investigation and design are currently being obtained. At this stage it is proposed that Bridge No. 703 will be replaced with seven barrel 1,800mm x 1,800mm box culverts.
Yarrabandai Road (Rural Road) - 047759-12NSW-RTR
The road has a narrow 3.5m seal with substantial edge break, worn shoulders and aged seal.Reconstruct and seal shoulders to achieve 6.5m seal width, then reseal full width.
