Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Womblebank Gap Road (Rural Road) - 048286-12QLD-RTR
The current road is narrow with a large amount of blind crestsProposed to widen and bitumen seal a 2.8km sectionTotal cost of proposed project is $536,305
Beasley Road (Rural Road - Katherine) - 048290-12NT-RTR
This project aims to reshape formation, gravel resheeting of various sections of the road and drainage improvement to improve public access to Edith River which is a camping and fishing site and become inaccessible during the wet season due to localised flooding and saturated pavement conditions.Gravel Resheet various sections of Beasley Road between chainage 0.0 to 14.75 kilometres and clear the vegetation from each side of 10 floodways to improve the access and drainage during the wet season.
Baines Lane (rural road) - 048294-12VIC-RTR
Old timber bridge damaged by heavy load resulting in cracked and split bridge beams which has severly restricted vehicle access along this roadDue to age and condition of bridge, existing structure to be removed and replaced with new concrete structure of similar size incorporating new abutments and prestressed concrete bridge slabs and guardrail
Black Hill Road (Rural Road) - 048297-12SA-RTR
Existing seal deteriorating due to age, and requires a reseal to prevent road surface breaking up. Road surface is cracked and requires regular maintenance. Reseal will restore road to a safe condition and protect the base of the road.Reseal road. Length of proposed work 5,050 metres. Width of proposed work 7.1 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $165,863
Scotts Brook Road, Boyup Brook. - 048305-12WA-RTR
The existing road has a narrow 5.5 metre wide 2 coat bitumen pavement with little or no shoulders.Increase pavement formation width to 9 metres and provide a 300mm bitumen edge to each side of the existing pavement.
Thompson Street, Moree - 048312-12NSW-RTR
Poor drainage caused by damaged kerb and gutter. Cracking and rutting of pavement.Full reconstruction of road surface and replacement of kerb and gutter.
Bartsch Avenue Henty - 048316-12NSW-RTR
Existing road is main road into Henty township from the west ,and existing pavement condition and drainage (kerb and channel) is in very poor condition, causing dust, noise and safety issues.Full reconstruction of the road pavement and drainsge (kerb and channel) for this section of roadTotal cost of proposed project is $347,674
Carrington Street, Macedon - 048318-12VIC-RTR
Existing road pavement has failed and deformed leading to increased roughnessReconstruct and overlay failed pavement and provide new kerb and channel
