Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Kerinauia Highway (Rural) - 048528-12NT-RTR
This road is prone to flooding during the wet season due to low lying area. This causes the road to be closed from time to time. This is the main road between Wurrumiyanga and Wurankuwu.Raise 500 metres of road by 400mm and dig spur drains to direct water away from the areaTotal cost of proposed project is $22,884
Kerinauia Highway (Rural Road) - 048529-12NT-RTR
This is the main road from Wurrumiyanga to the rest of Bathurst Island. There are low lying sections of road which flood during the wet season and force road closures.Resheet and raise sections of the road which are low lying and install concrete causeways to stop road erosion
Glen Barra Road, Halls Creek (Rural Road) - 048532-12NSW-RTR
Loss of gravel pavement over time has resulted in a corrugated and slippery surface that is difficult to maintainSupply, place and compact 100mm shale pavement layer intermittently where required. Total length of works 6.4km, width 5.0mTotal cost of proposed project is $100,455
Marsden Park Road, Calala (Rural Road) - 048536-12NSW-RTR

Peko Road, Tennant Creek NT - 048542-12NT-RTR

Thompson Street, Tennant Creek NT - 048543-12NT-RTR
Large amount of moderate cracking. Some large cracking.Crack seal large cracks then reseal using 1.8% rubber and 10mm aggregate
Standley Street, Tennant Creek NT - 048544-12NT-RTR
Extensive amount of moderate surface cracking on pavement. Crockadiling and cracking of road pavement at the Standley and Maloney Street intersection has ocurred due to large increase in heavy truck haulage. The intersection requires immediate attention. The shifting of the town's major freight depot has shifted all heavy truck haulage via Standley Street.Stabilisation of 800 sqm at intersection of Standley and Maloney Streets and resealing of Standley Street using 1.8% rubber and 10mm aggregate will rectify road problems.
Maloney Street, Tennant Creek NT - 048545-12NT-RTR
Large amount of cracking on intersection of Standley and Maloney streets. Large amount of moderate cracking on road surfaceStabilising 200 sqm at intersection of Maloney and Standley Streets then resealing road with 1.8% rubber and 10mm aggregate
Ambrose Street, Tennant Creek NT - 048547-12NT-RTR
This is a long stretch of road on which speeding by young and older drivers ocurrs. Ambrose Street also leads to Purkiss Reserve, the town's main sporting facility which is utilesed extensively by all residents. The potential for either a vehicle or vehicle / pedestrian accident to ocurr goes without question. The installation of traffic calming devices will reduce, if not eliminate speeding on Ambrose Street.Installation of a 9 metre round'a'bout at the intersection of Ambrose and Stuart Streets.
Ambrose Street, Tennant Creek NT - 048548-12NT-RTR
This is a long stretch of road on which speeding by young and older drivers ocurrs. There is the potential for either a vehicle or vehicle / pedestrian accident to ocurr. The installation of traffic calming devices will reduce, if not eliminate speeding on Ambrose Street.The installation of a 9 metre diameter round'a'bout will ensure the reduction / elimination of speed on Ambrose Street. The round'a'bout will also ease traffic flow into Ambrose Street from Garnet Street.
