Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Aylmore Road, Rural Road - 048999-13WA-RTR
Tis road needs to be upgraded from gravel to bitumen. Tis is part of a part of the long term project to seal the road to reduce ongoing maintenance costs which are increasing due to increased road use.Reconstruct and seal to 7 meters wide with bitumen
Tweed Road, Bridgetown - 049001-13WA-RTR
Narrow unsealed road needs to be widened and sealed to improve safety and cater for the traffic volumes.Widen formation to 8.0 metres, install a major drainage road crossing and two minor drainage crossings, construct gravel pavement and seal to 6 metre width
Krsuls Road, bridgetown - 049004-13WA-RTR
This section of road was reconstructed in 2012/2013 and requires a second coat bitumen seal.Second coat bitumen seal to complete 2012/2013 project.
James Street, Greenbushes - 049005-13WA-RTR
This section of road was reconstructed in 2012/2013 and requires a second coat bitumen sealSecond coat bitumen seal to complete 2012/2013 project.
Woolocutty Soak Road, Rural Road - 049006-13WA-RTR
This section of road need the intersection and road redesigned and constructed to accommodate the increase of road trains carting grain, the increased volume of tourist traffic and drainage issues. This section of road is unsafe.Reconstruct and widen pavement to 10 meters, construct kerbing and seal to 7 meters in width.Total cost of proposed project is $203,824
Spring Gully Road, Greenbushes - 049009-13WA-RTR
Existing open drain is deep, unsafe and carries a lot of water in winter.Install 1.50 metre wide by 1.20 metre high box culverts in open drain and across the cross road Telluride Street.Total cost of proposed project is $68,036
Prinsep Street, Bunbury - 049017-13WA-RTR
Seal is very old, large amounts of cracking. Kerbing will also require to be replaced due to severe cracking and general deterioration. Larage amounts of maintenence has been required resulting in an uneven surface.Replace kerbing, upgrdae drainage pits as required, reseal with asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $247,061
Trott Street & Allen Street, East Bunbury - 049019-13WA-RTR
Large areas of cracking and potholing. Binder has become brittle creating loose stones. Kerbing is old and in poor condition, kerbing is also a low profile and not adequate for a major storm event.Replace kerbing, upgrade drainage pits as required, asphalt reseal.
Forrest Avenue Service Road, Carey Park - 049022-13WA-RTR
Large areas of cracking and potholing. Extensive edge break resulting in large reduction in width of road. Drainage issues.Reconstruct road edge, install corrector course to improve over land drainage flow, installing kerbing, asphalt reseal.
Cove Hill Road, Bridgewater - 049028-13TAS-RTR
Cove Hill Road's asphalt surface is near the end of it's useful life and is showing signs of fatigue including fatigue cracking and deformation.Mill existing asphalt and placing a new 50mm asphalt overlay.Total cost of proposed project is $158,864
