Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Jamieson Street, Warrnambool - 049066-13VIC-RTR
Pavement failure in a high use roundabout.Remove the existing pavement and surface, install drainage, reconstruct the pavement and install new asphalt surface.Total cost of proposed project is $330,000
McGregors Road, Warrnambool - 049068-13VIC-RTR
Pavement failure has caused significant potholing and a rough surfaceRemove the existing failed pavement and reconstruct, install a new asphalt surface.Total cost of proposed project is $210,000
Carinda Road - 049069-13NSW-RTR
Formation and seal width deficiency with roughness and rutting.Shoulder widening and reconstruction.
MacKenzie Street, Blackwater - 049071-13QLD-RTR
Failed and severely uneven pavement.Replacement of existing kerb & channel and median kerbing, installation of subsoil drainage, cement stabilised pavement with 2 coat seal. Hotmix inlay at Bauman Way intersection with MacKenzie St and reseal over northernmost 165m to end of seal.Total cost of proposed project is $800,000
Sunlight Road Rural Road - 049073-13QLD-RTR
Loss of Gravel Pavement due to increased traffic and weather conditions.Restoration of sections of deteriorated pavement. Works will consist of Supply Cart and Lay 150mm Gravel Pavement to restore the existing road pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $530,881
Echo Hills Road Rural Road - 049076-13QLD-RTR
Gravel wearing course (running surface) worn off and/or punched into underlying black soil. Black soil evident on the surface becomes boggy, slippery and dangerous when wet.Remove any/all soft spots to a suitable depth. Cart, place and process 150mm thick suitable crushed gravel layer.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
Policeman Creek Crossing, Capella Rubyvale Road, Rubyvale Rural Road - 049077-13QLD-RTR
Existing crossing is too low with little or no low flow drainage and has potential to flood upstream properties. The crossing becomes impassable with minor storm events, cutting-off residents access from one side of the town to the other.Increase the length and height of the floodway across the creek to reduce height of inundation and prevent potential flooding of upstream propertiesTotal cost of proposed project is $2,200,000
Brooms Head Road (Rural Road) - 049083-13NSW-RTR
The road is inundated during moderate to major storm events, causing a safety issue and closing the road in major events.The proposed work is to install a three cell box culvert at this location. The culvert will consist of three 1200 mm by 900 mm cells. The culvert will be 14.64 metres long.Total cost of proposed project is $118,000
Langdon Road - 049084-13NSW-RTR
The road surface has been affected by potholes, cracks and pavement failures. The surface asphalt is old and brittle. There are a number of repair patches, which makes this road rough and uncomfortable to drive.The proposed treatment includes replacement of failed pavement areas with asphalt and resurfacing of the whole road section with asphalt. Length = 251 m; Width = 12 m; Area = 3012 m2.
Lanhams Road - 049085-13NSW-RTR
The road section has been affected by potholes and numerous pavement failures and repair patches. It is very rough to drive on. The existing surface is old and brittle and prone to cracking. Some kerb and gutter sections are damaged and displaced.The proposed treatment includes replacement of damaged kerb and gutter sections, replacement of existing sub standard pavement materials with asphalt and resurfacing of the road section with asphalt. length = 244 m; Width = 12 m; Area = 2928 m2.Total cost of proposed project is $324,273
