Cartledge Avenue - 049381-13SA-RTR
There are three issues being addressed as part of this project. The first is the road surface which has substantially deteriorated and is well past its useful life, the second is poor drainage with Cartledge Avenue experiencing localised flooding particularly at the intersection of Cartledge Avenue and Barrie Robran Gate and the adjacent residential properties. Thirdly Cartledge Avenue from Heurich Terrace to Racecourse Road does not have any kerb and water table or footpath.Work to be undertaken includes the construction of kerb and water table along Cartledge Avenue and installation of side entry pits and underground stormwater drainage to connect to the existing system along Racecourse Road (ASR Site). Reconstruct and reseal to strength base and renew surface. Install footpaths along Cartledge Avenue frontage of residential estate and introduce roundabout treatments at intersections of Heurich Terrace and Ekblom Street.Total cost of proposed project is $275,504

Francisco Street - 049385-13WA-RTR
Excessive cracking of existing wearing course and red asphalt median allowing pumping of base course fines to the surface and sub-standard drainage structures requiring replacement.Length, width and area of job: 92m x 12m = 1,104m2. Replace non-standard side entry pits and manholes with new drainage structures. Reconstruct the road by working the wearing course back into the base course, reshaping the cross section, rekerbing road and sealing with a new black asphalt wearing course for the traffic lanes and a red asphalt wearing course for the median.Total cost of proposed project is $207,959

Upgrading of inlet structures to stop blocking of side entry pits. Reconstruction of the road while retaining the north kerb line and as much of the existing footpath behind it as possible. New kerb on the south side of the road and then apply a new asphalt wearing course over the length of the project.Total cost of proposed project is $202,664
