Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Miller Street. (Gilgandra) - 049414-13NSW-RTR
Miller Street is the main street of Gilgandra and is also the Castlereagh Highway, managed by the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS). The RMS has programmed to re-asphalt the pavement stopping at the fog line (their boundary), Council is responsible for the remaining shoulder, which is starting to break up and is in disrepair , so Council proposes to re-asphalt the first 350m and to bitumen seal the remaining 530m a total of 880m.Carry our surface corrections where needed then asphalt to a thickness of 40mm for 350m then bitumen seal 530m with 14mm stone.
Lucas Road (Rural Road) - 049415-13SA-RTR
Existing unsealed pavement in poor condition (rubble surface worn away and potholed) with unsuitable horizontal alignment.Road to be resheeted with rubble to a width of 8 meters and pavement depth of 150mm and length of 1,400 meters, with improved horizontal alignment.
Abercrombie Road (Rural Road) - 049416-13NSW-RTR
The road surface is uneven and it breaking up due to excessive heavy traffic - trucks . shoulders too narrow.Reconstruction of road surface. Widen formation. Install adequate drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $800,000
Kooyong Street, Horsham, 3400 - 049417-13VIC-RTR
Pavement failed due to traffic and poor drainage. Poor riding surface and drainage issues to be addressed.Pavement renewals including replacement of kerb and channel and sealed surface to provide a smooth riding surface and improved drainage. Width 7.8m. Length 100metres.Total cost of proposed project is $122,008
North East Wonwondah Road, (rural road), 3400. - 049419-13VIC-RTR
Pavement failed due to heavy traffic and poor drainage. poor riding surface, narrow seal and drainage issues are to be addressed.An extra pavement layer to be installed including replacement of sealed surface and widening it to 6.2m. This will provide a smooth riding surface, safe traffic passage and improved drainage. Length 1.030 km
Nurrabiel Church Road, (rural road), 3400 - 049420-13VIC-RTR
Pavement failed due to heavy traffic and poor drainage. poor riding surface, narrow seal and drainage issues are to be addressed.An extra pavement layer to be installed including replacement of sealed surface and widening it to 6.2m. this will provide a smooth riding surface, safe traffic passage and improved drainage. Length 1 km.
Marma Box Creek Road (Rural Road) - 049421-13NSW-RTR
Gravel Surface breaking up and wearing down very quickly due to increase of traffic. This road is the main route to Mungo National Park from Balranald Township.Gravel construction 8m wide and a 7m seal for a length of 1.00km. This will include grading along the sides of the road to form table drains for drainage flow.
Sturt Highway 14 (Euston Township. Urban Road) - 049422-13NSW-RTR
Existing open earth drains in a built up area. Water lays in wet conditions. It is the main entrance to Euston Township from Balranald.Installation of drainage pits and pipes. Includes the construction of a concrete spoon drain at a length of 160m to improve roadside drainage.
Pullaming Road (Rural Road) - - 049424-13NSW-RTR
Insufficient depth of gravel causing pavement failureApplying an additional 150mm of gravel to the pavement
Clare Freshwater Road (Rural Road) - 049425-13NSW-RTR
Existing grids are deteriorating due to age and increase of heavy vehicles. Grids are beginning to show signs of wear and tear, and are starting to cause safety problems.To remove three (3) old deteriorating grids and replace with new grids. New grids will be placed on compacted gravel and the approaches will be sealed to a length of 20m.
